New Buck Web specials

I was finally notified that my order has been shipped (May 31st) and according to UPS tracking, it was delivered to my house on June 1st. Since I work out of town I won't be able to confirm that until I get home tonight. I guess living close by has its benefits! :thumbup: :)

Mike....I bought a few 110's from you on 5/28/11 and those were delivered today!! Thanks for the fast shipping!!

Now if only I could get my shipping notice from Buck...............
 
I just checked the site again and noticed something odd. I have a problem believing the price on the Vantage Select, Charcoal Dymondwood model 0345GYSWM-B. $40???????? That doesn't compute as a closeout, web specials price to me. I don't think they sold for that at the store (Walmart) and I know they sold for less than half of that on the auction sites. I'm thinking that must be a typo.

I have often wondered that Dave. Who decides (and how) to price their web specials. I found it odd that the Vanguard in ATS-34 was almost double the price of the 191 in CPM154, the ATS-34 110, Duke, and 118!
 
If I'm not mistaken, that Vantage Select Dymondwood was $24 yesterday. Perhaps it's a pricing error on the web store.
 
Well Did you luck out Badhammer? I just got word from Buck, no 500 for me! I was too late.
I have to head back to their website and see what else I need now!! :D

No call back from my earlier voicemail and my order still shows "in process". Did just check my email a second ago and it appears I also lost out on the Duke (the new email said it was oversold). Emailed them back and said I understood and asked if they were still shipping the rest of my order?


I'd order something else but everything I'm interested in is "currently not available".
 
Strange, although I received a shipping notice yesterday saying the Dukes and 118's I ordered had been shipped, now I just got an e-mail saying the Dukes were oversold and I didn't get them. I don't know what to believe. :confused: I got a second e-mail saying I missed out on the Cherrywood 110's also that were part of my second order.

I did see a couple things on their website I wouldn't mind buying, but they are not available at this time.

"We at Buck Knives are sorry to inform you that we oversold the model #500BO2 & model #110BO10 knives you purchased. Our Web Specials are often of limited quantities, and while supplies last, as stated on the offer we emailed you. Your credit card will be refunded within 24 to 48 hrs of receiving this email."

I am a little surprised as I order on the 27th and they left these items on the specials page for a few days after that.

I was kind of looking forward toward seeing these two knives, it is not as if they are normal items, so I am a little disapointed, but I guess I will make it up in about 8 days when I go to the Atlanta knife show. :cool:

Well, I got shipping confirmation this morning on my two 118s and the N/S Cherry 110 and the Elk Cutout 110.

Nothing further yet to indicate that I won't get them.

Keeping fingers crossed.

My email was identical other than it just mentioned the #500B02 so I guess I lucked out on the 110.

Yes the web specials are limited, and they don't update with the actual inventory. I kinda figured this would happen, I did it last time. Now I just hope the 118's are still coming though! ;)

AND at least you get to go to Atlanta, you lucky dog!!! :D

Two of my orders were on the 26th and one was late on the 27th.

Nothing yet to contradict the notice that they all shipped this morning.

Waiting hopefully.

Got tracking numbers on my NS110s, 118s and 1 of the 2 bucklites I ordered. Get em Monday. I'm assuming the other bucklite will be in the box even though the tracking # isn't listed by it on email. Order placed 5/26.
 
I assume that a shipping notice with a tracking number means they're really out the door and on their way. At least I hope so! I had a pair of 118s on order too.

I just purchased the 426 Bucklite I just couldn't resist it I chose the black handles but am having second thoughts one of these days I'm hoping to see a 301 on there in 13C26 sandvick it would make the ultimate web special.
 
I missed out on the D2 118....Lots of great deals...So little money, BUT I'm going to Alanta!

I'm happy! I just received my order and am looking at the knives. The 500 Duke has the Bos and ATS 34 stamped horizontally on the right side. The 118 has D2 horizontally stamped on the right side. Both knives look great!
