New Buck Web specials

Hello all, did anyone get a orange 422 or a orange 426 Bucklite or both??? If so can you tell me what is stamped on the blade...

Eight days and still no shipping confirmation...............................

Same here. I guess putting up new Web Specials right before a holiday weekend might not be the best idea though I expect my remaining order will get here sooner or later.
 
I'm happy! I just received my order and am looking at the knives. The 500 Duke has the Bos and ATS 34 stamped horizontally on the right side. The 118 has D2 horizontally stamped on the right side. Both knives look great!

Anything on the other side of the 118 tang?

Check your spam file? For some reason the Buck store emails get caught in mine.

Nope, nothing there. I've gotten two emails so far, order confirmation and another telling me the 500 was oversold so they are getting through.
 
I ordered the 118 on May 26th. I received a shipping confirmation on June 2nd, with tracking link showing it actually shipped May 31st. The 118 was the only item I ordered, so I assume it is on its way. Will make a good pair, along with a previous web special D2 118 (different handle) ordered in recent past.

Update:

As I posted earlier I got an email yesterday telling me the Duke was oversold. Told them I understood and asked if they were still going to ship the rest of the order? Just got a reply this reply, "yes". My response was "Any idea when?"

They must really be slammed cause I've place 5-6 orders in the last 6 months and have never had this type of delay.

P.S. Great looking knives Mike. Thanks for posting those pics.

Yes, most of the real goodies are gone.

No doubt that heavy response to the build-outs swamped them and then this birthday sale on top of it.

I'm ok with a little delay.....that's life.

My Orange 426 should be at the house any time now. I'll post back when I get home from work tonight if no one else has one.
 
I have got to admit I was a little dissapointed with getting a cancellation message for two of my knives. Then I saw Mike's pictures of the 500, that made it even worse.

But, I have to give Buck some brownee points. I had one knife still on order, the $24 Vantage, the one that is now $40. After seeing the cancellation, I wrote back and said "My order will now be under $50, please cancel my order on the Vnatage as I don't want to pay for the shipping". Well, they wrote back and said they are not going to charge me shipping. It was a nice gesture. I am now looking forward toward my one (1) knife. :rolleyes:
 
Only one out of the thirteen knives I ordered had shipped. Eleven of those knives were ordered on 5/26/2011 and two on 6/1/2011. Since others here had placed orders later than mine and have already received some knives, I sent an email to Buck inquiring into the status of my orders.

I was feeling a little put off by not receiving any shipping confirmations, AND being told the two Dukes and the two nickle/silver 110's I ordered were gone already.

I sent the email not really expecting much other than to bring this to their attention. I figured I would get an email response apologizing and they would see to it that my remaining knives shipped soon.

I got a phone call from them!! They acknowledged my problem and thanked me for my email....and are tracking down why there was a problem. I still won't get the Dukes or the n/s 110's as they are all gone. They did replace them with a couple other knives to my liking though.

Buck not only makes great knives, they treat their customers with respect. I've owned some Buck knives since the 1970's, but have become more interested in collecting some of them lately.

I will proudly spread the word about this fine Company.
 
Sorry you ran into problems on that big order. Glad they could at least partially make it better.

I really wanted the four knives they ran out of, but they gave me a decent price on the 110 Chairman and a couple Dukes with the regular steel.

I was impressed with the way they handled the problem. It builds great customer loyalty.
