The last use was in 2021 catalog but only for the serrated Tiger Claw, which I think is the last knife to use it… but yes other than that I guess they left it on the chart to make it look more balanced(?) lolThe CTS XHP steel caught my eye, but didn't see anything that actually lists that steel. Then looked at past catalogs, and they never removed it from the list, even though they stopped using it years ago.![]()
Demko made some custom ad10s in the past with tanto blades. its not a gsm creation really.Demko projected the AD-10 with a spear point, and I'd like to know what he thinks about the new Tanto version. I have a Frankenstein feeling when I see it.

it looks good to me..... id prefer it be 3.75" + though......
Because it is vaporware. I think the Stickman said it was a prototype.Didn't see the "Mayhem" in the '22 catalog ?
GSM is basically betting CS reputation on the performance of their special HT 4034 , IMO .Because it is vaporware. I think the Stickman said it was a prototype.
Yeah, dunno about charging more than $100 for a knife made of 4034SS.
I've always gone for sub $50 knives, and I'm grateful CS made things in 1055, 4116, SK-5, etc. So I don't object to 4034 per se. The 4034 bowies are going for $200 and I bet the Warcraft tantos are over $100. For that amount I expect something better.GSM is basically betting CS reputation on the performance of their special HT 4034 , IMO .
I guess we'll see .![]()
I expect we'll eventually see some videos with the new BA 4034 choppers being put to severe hard use "proof testing " .I've always gone for sub $50 knives, and I'm grateful CS made things in 1055, 4116, SK-5, etc. So I don't object to 4034 per se. I'll reserve my judgement in favor of real world results .
I'm with you, Doc, the proof will be in the pudding. If they don't cut the mustard, they will be roasted mercilessly.I expect we'll eventually see some videos with the new BA 4034 choppers being put to severe hard use "proof testing " .

Think I've seen that one .
Kinda what I expect from 4034
From the way some of the GSM videos were scripted , with newbie Stickman being educated /trained in the way of the knife by old master LCT , I tend to think it was planned that way . A coming of age story , initiation into bladed manhood .I'm with you, Doc, the proof will be in the pudding. If they don't cut the mustard, they will be roasted mercilessly.
Did you guys watch that new video just posted about the new lock? Oooof. Their new spokesman doesn't really make me want to buy, quite frankly. But, then again, LT is a tough act to follow. Still, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, why not get a knife guy for that job???
The manipulation through advertising doesn't seem to have been very successful anywayFrom the way some of the GSM videos were scripted , with newbie Stickman being educated /trained in the way of the knife by old master LCT , I tend to think it was planned that way . A coming of age story , initiation into bladed manhood .LTC even passed the baton by presenting Sticky with a proper CS Big Stick .
All very symbolic . Advertising is manipulation , often targeted at an unconscious/emotional level .
I think it's also probably just easier to sell that new crap, innocently straight faced , if you really aren't aware of the fact .![]()
