New Cooper Cutlery knives?

I'm getting old or something.

Another old knife brand sold to some guys who are making inferior knives, trying to 'cash in' on name recognition in a business that is dwindling in size and stature. They've further diminished their standing by choosing to (nudge-nudge, wink-wink) associate themselves with an immature marketing ploy that seems as pointless as it is puerile.

Their 'right' to do this, charge whatever they want, or embarrass themselves is absolute. Nobody has to support them. They're not obligated to give a hang about our sensibilities.
No, not old but wise:thumbsup: That can come at any age or frequently not at all....

Unboxing video of the German hunter from Knife Thoughts is up on YouTube . . . skip to about the six minute mark. It is definitely a marijuana leaf with accompanying Bible verse in the package. Final thoughts is it's comparable to last run of Queen knives and doesn't live up to his expectations. He rambles a little and admits at the end the video his narrative is convoluted.

Well mine finally arrived, not looking good boys.

This trapper's shield is so high it's trying to take off.

The bone handle on this hunter is nowhere near flush with the top bolsters or even the liner for that matter, back spring gap is pretty bad too.

Bad grinds on main blades for both knives, centering isn't great either with a little blade rub too. Not looking good for Weed and Company.

Wonder if the vendors even looked at these before listing them? Going to test out their warranty on these two, will update as appropriate.

That's absolutely horrible.
They need to put the pipe down and focus on making knives.
