Not sure if this is old news or what, but I just got the new issue of Tactical Knives and whats the first thing I see.On page 21 an ad for A carbon Fiber sebenza (Large and Small) exclusive from KnifeArt.Prices are pretty reasonable too, $395 for a small and $455 for Large.I'm not sure if its textured or what but man thats the ultimate in SEXY!!

Not sure if they are available yet as they are not on the site, but perhaps a preorder?

Anyone else spy this blurp?

Is it carbon fiber inlay? And is the ti polished or beadblast?
If you can see in the pic.
 
Awesome.

Looks like the carbon has been left alone or been polished just a tad. Look at how cleanly the weaving and layers show. The ti seems to be beadblast like on standard 21s. Somebody already by one of em. We need pics.
 
That does look good.:thumbup: Even though I hate to say it I think I would have prefered to see inlays. :foot: :p...... perhaps we could now see them as well ?
 
Lightning strike CF is cool but can look a bit scrappy IMO. I would like to see just a nice bit of clean 3K twill carbon fiber for the inlays, nothing too flash. I'm not sure what the weave pattern is on the scales in the pictures but it looks good too.

This will be an amazing knife! The worst part is that I will probably have to buy a large and a small :rolleyes:

I just have to hope that these dont come out anytime soon. CRK is a slippery slope.

Yes! I love lightning strike CF especially when all the fibers are present and not missing. I think a semiconductor material would be an awesome inlay....have seen it on some bolsters. Silver twill is beautiful as well.
VERY cool find... I did all sorts of searching after your initial post last night and couldn't find any internet info.

I'm kind of surprised at the price point. Seems like carbon fiber would be much cheaper than titanium.:cool:
 
i was expecting they would inlay CF. but the full scale looks good. bet it cuts down on carry weight.
