The new knife builder is already an upgrade, I realy struggled to use it on a mobile device but it seems to be much faster.
It’s nice that deep carry clips have been added but I can’t see my favourite BM USA parkerised clip, has it been removed as an option?

Not upset at all. But if you tell me something is $200 then jack the price up 25% my wallet goes right back into my pocket. ;)

Haven't bought a Benchmade since the MAP change and I really thought this was gonna change that, but no dice.

Nice logic. A company made a mistake and price points weren’t being implemented as planned, and you voice your displeasure for all to see? Got it. They are telling you it was never meant to be flat $200. What if it never happened? Hindsight can be 20/20, but I highly doubt we would have heard a single upset person if it worked as intended upon release. Literally EVERYONE knew that these would be MSRP+ for the custom shop, because they are direct from benchmade.

On a side note. I’m not buying because M4 Steel was my hope, and it’s not being included. Otherwise, some of the designs I’ve played with actually look fantastic.

This, I normally get my BM's at 30% to 40% off MSRP depending on how patient I am and if I am willing to wait for sales. 30% off is my normal at a local shop and a shop in Alabama when visiting my wife's family. 30% to 40% off is when a local shop does 20% off sales, and a shop in Alabama does their Black Friday sales. REI I just wait for the coupons they do a few times a year. I also keep a Benchmade alert running on slickdeals and catch stuff occasionally.

None of these places shop before someone PM's me, already checked for a few people.

Seriously, not upset, but not spending the money. I'll happily let them know that as it puts forth what they need to do to get my money. They're free not to and I'm free not to buy. It's really that simple.

For a 154cm wood scale it was $200ish, then got changed to $250ish, and now it's fixed i think at $235.
G10 is still an extra $60, and 20cv is +$20.
 
I got wood scales and 20cv blade for 200 even, plus tax and shipping....so I guess that's correct.
Whatever, it'll all work out, I have confidence in Benchmade. Always have treated me right.
 
As a fan of Benchmade I can dream, but it’s a bit too rich from my blood.
