New custom knife builder!

The black and red combo I put together for the custom Crooked River is dead sexy. $60 for the G10 is not sexy. That a little much in my opinion. Should the g10 prices slightly change and/or they offer the mini, I’ll be in. I have been extremely happy with my other custom Benchmade griptillians.

I checked the other knives as well as the old custom maker. G10 scales have always been a 60 dollar upcharge so I'm guessing that this isn't a misprint.

I feel pretty certain it's just brass colored, i believe they are anodized aluminum.

$60 for upgrading from grivory (injection molded?) to G10 makes sense, but the same charge for upgrading from dymondwood? I assume that the materials and labor cost for grivory is quite low. Is the same true for dymondwood?

Yeah brass actually machines like butter. Better than adding another coating operation to the aluminum. Plus the color won't scratch off.

Any chance we see M4 steel become an option? I was hoping it transitioned from the other knives, and is what is holding me back.

Yeah, a $60 upcharge from dymondwood to G10 doesn't make sense to me, especially when the Crooked River had both dymondwood and G10 options for the same price. But, I can't get the custom builder to load right now, so not sure.

Should the mini be offered, I am curious to see if the g10 upgrade will be 60 bones.
