kw website still says pre-order. How could shipping already started? Or maybe this is for the clum members?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
No. I spoke with KW this evening - yours will be shipped shortly before mine...but mine won't be shipping until just after yours; so we've got a bit of a wait.Seconded. Are they being shipped in order of when the order went in?
Agreed. If this does as well as it looks like it will, and assuming there are no other impediments, they'd be crazy not to make a mini version.I would wait. I'm sure the mini version is coming.
07/19/18When did you preorder, if you don't mind saying?
Looks awesome in the video but then I pull out my custom shop BM grip and realize just why I don’t need to buy the Ritter. Now that KW exclusive BM grip in M390...First video of the knife : https://www.instagram.com/p/BpDBOOdg-oI/

Gives Tops a run for their $.Thanks for sharing the video. I have to say, while I generally don't mind branding, this knife seems to be overly branded.
Yep!Anyone received theirs yet?
It is too bad there are people commenting in this thread whose sole motive is to stir up drama for their collective amusement.
On to the knife: I love the texturing on the handle; classic Hogue precision machining. It is good to see knife makers improving on the Axis lock (not that it needs much improving). I'm wondering how the different the springs actually are in this lock compared to a Benchmade Axis lock.
Kool story.Yep!
I know it's slightly off-topic but these kinds of positive reviews make me wonder how heavily Hogue is going to lean into the "Able" lock.I got mine on Saturday and I love it. I'm a Ritter fanboy, but even if I wasn't I'd love this knife. M390, G10 textured and sculpted scales, zero blade play, perfect centering and free dropping blade. Everything you wanted your Benchmade to do but rarely did out of the box. Oh I love the Ritter custom touches like the emblem on the deep carry clip and the baggy even saying Doug Ritter on it. It surpassed my hopes easily. And at $150 bucks it's the best value in a blade that I've spent in a long time.
I wonder how different, if at all the Hogue Ambidextrous Pivot Lock is?I know it's slightly off-topic but these kinds of positive reviews make me wonder how heavily Hogue is going to lean into the "Able" lock.
