Yeah, it does kinda look like a leaf, and his name has hemp in it. Coincidence? Conspiracy? Not sure. What I am sure of is that Ed Schemp is cool as beans and I just saved 15% by switching to Geico.

Yea, It's quite suspicious isn't it?

They need jimping and perhaps some skullzzzzzzzzz!!!!! searching for the "pukey" smiley.

Joe, that one was called mr. Yuk face, remember? I was going to post that too when I saw that color, it has a strong resemblance.

Thanks. Well, now we know how to make a perfectly normal and somewhat traditional looking field knife look tacticool without hacking and filing painful notches into the blade and handle. Thank's, ESEE. You just saved us a lot of labor. ;)

I was thinking that if you ever dropped one of those in a pot field, you could probably find the handle, but the blade would be lost for sure.

I don't know, looks to me like they went the other way on this one. No self-respecting tactical arm-chair commando is going to be caught dead with this color scheme. There just isn't enough black. And no blood groove.

Now how am I suppose to "de-animate" Al Qaeda sentries with one of those? They'll see me comin a mile away. :D

But seriously, if you like em, great. But when I look at them I think "Knives for "slow" people". I mean, is it really a common problem that people are putting their knives down and forgetting where they left them? Or are people having a problem with their knives falling out of their sheaths and getting lost?
QUOTE]

Yes I'm a ''slow'' person. After about 5-6 hours of spider webs in the face and sweat in my eyes while slowly crawling through river bottom brush and going up and down steep embankments, I get tired. Take a break, make a fire for a cup of tea or noodles. Forget knife were you stopped because you are beat. Do I go back after another couple of hours bush whacking ? Damn near bring tears to your eyes you are so tired. Everyone has their own reasons\experiences to base their judgment upon. Mine is actually from being out there and having the crap scared out of me as a half hidden moose explodes out of the bog bush in front of me etc., not living vicariously through others on a computer.

Yup. Burn-your-eyes-out hi-viz colors like sometimes spray painted on the tools of construction workers. It a utilitarian color scheme--not a pretty one! :D

Not my cup of tea, but I actually appreciate the idea behind them as "impossible to lose" variant.

I am always love a nice bright orange G10.

I have dropped a knife and had difficulty finding it. I also don't really have any need for a camo, subdued knife either.

Most my knives are either satin, or coated in tans/greens/black etc, but I don't really need that anyway.

I don't think this is a crazy idea at all.

...Imagine standing in a crop of tightly packed 4'-6' tall plants, stacked so close you couldn't swing a long machete...

Excellent, we finally found something to motivate stoners! In reality though, the colors aren't for me but I'm happy to see any new knife that isn't "tactical" black on black. Nothing says mall ninja like having all flat black gear.

I'm really surprised by all the reactions on here. I'm kind of new to this, but even I figured out that the colors are because of popular demand. There's alot of people that want those colors. I see many of the people on this forum going crazy over new designs and colors. ESEE seems pretty tame as far as different colors go, especially compared to Busse and kin, Spyderco, Benchmade, and not to mention all the different CRK designs and woods. Finally ESEE offers a little cosmetic variety and everyone gets on their case?

Now, the anti-narcotics thing. So they have a heavy machete used by anti-narcotics personnel. Do we start hating on everyone that makes machetes? Because I'm sure that Tramontia and Condor machetes never get used to cut down pot plants.

I guess I just expected more out or you guys.
