Wow, I hadn't seen that monstrosity! But honestly, I don't know which is worse, the new Tough Guy knife or the new Tough Guy clothes....

also bringing back out Mike Wallaces colossus.....and few other old models I'll be adding. all in all not all bad.....

im gonna make sure John's getting that cold steel shirt and tactical pants though...

Interesting that the Black Sable is now a TriAD, while the others stayed with the liner-lock. Makes sense on the Spectre, being so slender, but would've been nice on the Hatamoto and Caledonian Edge.

he knows and worked with Demko on that Kriss push dagger ya love,........ so i guess a knife designer at cold steel?
Yeah I don't know about that...he stumbled through all that worse than stickboy. But he didn't refer to them as "units", so there's that.

Surprised that Demko was involved in that thing.

yeah dont know..... just what he said in that video. least Jamin didn't push his design of a competition chopper......

Who the hell is Jamin? Something happen to Stickboy?

Beginning of the video, at the bottom edge, says "Brand Manager". I just hope he, being the brand manager, was nervous being on camera or hung over from the holidays as he didn't seem to be well versed in the steel being used on a few of the knives.

Just my two cents, I'd rather have Cold Steel being innovative rather than bring back knives from the past. In the past, yes pre GSM, I was always excited to see the new cold steel, the last few years, not so much.

The xl recon 1 is an amazing knife, but I already have it. Maybe I'm just crotchety and the one who is hung over today, but i'd rather see new instead of the same old thing - they didn't even change the handle color/material or make it in the newest greatest steel.

On the positive side, the brand manager at the end of the video said they "have a lot of great, [self corrected himself] good items coming out later in the year".

Yeah, but I thought that's basically what stickboy was? Oh well, the Full Metal Atlas was a recent bright spot, but haven't seen much else to get excited about.

Stickboy was a spokesperson, who admittedly said he didn't know much about knives/cold steel. I would think a "brand manager" should know everything there is to know about the upcoming new line of knives.

I guess it is all how GSM sees it.

GSM CORPORATE: "Today you are a brand manager because there is nobody else around to do this video". Also, he must be a designer because he helped Demko design the soon to be legendary Java.
