New GEC #14 Boys Knife

I may be slightly prejudiced, but I think these are the prettiest of the run! :D

Been doing so good on taking a break since acquiring a couple #25s awhile back. Stumbled across a pic of the camel bone and ended up ordering a rrjb and an ebony.... Then came on here, saw the micarta and ordered one of those as well. Beautiful little knives!

I always have reservations about buying knives without trying them out.

My last GEC 15 stainless clip was about a 7, far heavier than any of my other 15's. It was barely pinchable, but I had no problem opening it with the nail nick (which is unusual for my bad thumb). Spears can present a problem for me, if the pull is too heavy, as they normally can't be pinched open.
I agree as I bought my first tradional a while back without having the option of trying
it out first and I had to grind my teeth everytime I tried to open it and about ripped my nail off . Blades were rubbing also and BTW it wasn't a GEC and not going to mention what dealer because it wasn't there Fault these things happen and they took care of me without a problem . But it almost took my desire away to get another traditional .
I'm glad Ive given them a second chance "tradionals" because I'm really enjoying the ones I have all being Northwoods/GEC's.
But I can't help but get a little nervous now when ordinary one after my first encounter lol.

My ebony single arrived today. I'd call it a 4 pull. Love this knife. The ebony scales, the swedge the long pull the steel liners, the relatively beefy blade on such a small knife, the size is just what I like. The only thing I would change is to add a badge but I'm very happy.
