  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

New GEC #14 Boys Knife

Nice knives everyone, I picked up 2, Lyles and a rotten banana, both 2 blades.

I flushed my pivots on my #14 with oil and it did not change much. I ended up taring my nail opening it after oiling. I decided to ask DLT for a RMA# and send my stonewash blue #14 back. I think I will stick with models I can pinch to open the blades on.

Great looking 14's all! Can't wait to receive my own rbb when I see all the beauties in this thread.

My smooth ivory bone arrived a few days ago, I like how the pile side is a bit darker than the mark side:

Brett, please share your patina technique!

I usually just cut a strawberry and rub the butt of it on both sides for a few minutes. Then I dab it dry not to create streaks and add a dab oil when finished.

Thanks, got to go grocery shopping! Apples and tomatoes do ok, but yours looks great!

I've been carrying one or the other everyday since getting them. These #14's are sweeties !

Thanks. It's not nearly as dark as it seems. The lighting almost makes it look pitch black. If I kept the strawberry on it longer it certainly would go black. Here's another shot.

Today I received the Antique Yellow and the Oily Creek Bone. I've had the Rust Red for a couple weeks. I haven't taken the dive into the two blade versions just yet.

They are all great but this Oily Creek bone is really sweet!

That oily Creek bone is sweet !
Who has those in Stock if you don't mind me asking? 😊
