Now that looks like a 80yr old knife!
This one reminds me of the Case / Bose collaboration. One of my favorite patterns to date by GEC. So I scrapped the etch, put a satin finish on a NF, put a houndstooth shield on it, and can't wait to rub on them.
Also excited to see what the single muskrat clip models look like....
I was disappointed I missed the initial GEC release of the improved trapper in blackwood, but I like this version better. I prefer satin finished blades (to polished) and look forward to having a different shield on this one. I was thinking the same thing about this knife resembling a Bose collaboration, especially with the nice swedges. Order placed...can't wait! Congrats on a another winner, Mike!
