Honestly, this pattern doesn't make my heart beat much faster but I assume this thread needs more pictures :)

I'd like to see Clip/Sheepfoot on this frame, kind of Surveyor type (Peachseed...)

I wonder what that Western Outlaw is going to look like that they have added to their production schedule. Anybody able to find anything on this pattern? http://greateasterncutlery.net/blog/2011-production-schedule/

Take a look here-- opposite-end clip and spey(?) blades on the #76 frame.

Looking at image number 64, the knife is cutting up a piece of paper with another knife design on it, I don't recognize the knife, but it looks like it has a large wharncliffe and a barlow shaped frame. Does anyone recognize this? or are they teasing us with a new model?

That looks like a #74 (Saddle Trapper) to me, the knife GEC put out on the heels and tooling of the 2012 BCF knife, but with the Krak-a-Jack shield. Maybe?

The top right covers are just beautiful. I really like the look of this new frame and that cali clip is a perfect fit, the matchstrike pull is a very nice touch. I can not wait to see the stockman with that clip main :D. I will officially ask now for a blue tuna version ;)

The red licorice and goldenrod micarta don't trip my trigger, and I'm OK with the black ebony...

But this one shows some promise. Chestnut jigged bone?

That Chestnut jigged bone in a stockman configuration..................Now that would be AWESOME

Have a great day,
Jeff

I really like the red liquorice bone, the lines go nicely with the overall shape. I just hope noone else likes it, because I won't be able to afford one for a while. :)

probably by next week, there are some ebony and goldenrod ones online already. maybe if my tax return would hurry up I could get one.

This new 81 pattern looks custom made to house the old fashioned square bolstered jack. Be interesting to see if they go that route in the future. That happens to be my favorite knife of all time so I'll keep my powder dry. :)

Would love to see this in a Ebony Clip/Pen Jack.

I can understand this pattern a little more when it offers two different blade styles. To be honest, from a practical standpoint I've never quite understood 'muskrat' styles that have the same blade at both ends.

My understanding is that it originates from a time when muskrat trappers (and thus, skinners) would be out in the wild for an extended period of time. The idea being, they doubled their chances of having a sharp skinning blade on hand. ;)

Well the idea is for a real trapper type knife. Trappers need a good clip blade as there is some detail work when skinning out a mink, raccoon, marten and muskrat. Having two means you could always have one that was sharp while doing your work. I would like one of this pattern and this particular model is calling me now.
