Looks nice. Since it doesn't have the liners, I wish the blade steel is in H1 instead. Not sure if it's worth picking up yet...
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Not really too excited over this one.. But, does anyone know of a compendium of all of the upcoming Sprint Runs due? I always feel like I'm forgetting some![]()
i feel like we should have an official sprint run thread to keep them all compiled for people who don't necessarily live on the forums.
I have an uncle and a friend who still regularly carry original FRN linerless Wayne Goddard which I think came out in about 1997 (from memory). I only stopped carrying mine becasue they discontinued them. We all have some on pre-order. As far as the durability of linerless FRN read here. http://www.spyderco.com/forums/show...-with-a-single-Spyderco!-with-Pics&highlight=
I agree wholeheartedly! A stickied "upcoming" thread would be great.
Spyderco.com has a page for sprints and exclusives but they haven't updated it in over six months. Also, it was always incomplete. It might take too much effort to have someone from the company to be constantly updating it.
Not sure what you consider large, or small, but here are a couple shots comparing the new C16 Goddard Sprint with a Delica, Stretch, and Military. Not the best photos in the world, but they do show the relative sizes and were taken looking straight down, so there's no perspective distortion.that pic makes it look alot bigger than it really is. sometimes knives look huge in pics other times tiny its wierd. but its not as big as it looks in that pic especially the butt.
still a good knife without the liners but they should have put even partial ones nested in the FRN when you get longer with the FRN I think it is less stiff which is why it works linerless on smaller knifes but above Delica size they should be there.
. Granted, cops generally don't put their knives through too much, but it's still a cool story.
Funny you should say that. Cops around here break their knives on a fairly regular basis.
