First off, It looks like I am committed to seeing this knife through to completion! I seriously hesitated, but the enthusiasm won me over. Thank you all!

A) I asked Bill about worm-groove jigging! He thinks we can do it. It's an extra step in the process which might cost as much as $1.50 to $2 per knife.

I think he will make an extra effort to make it good looking, as jigging is important to him. He has been a long-time student of the art!

What do you say? Please comment!

B) Do we really need a poll on a long pull? Gathered comments through this process have suggested an overwhelming preference for long pulls.

More comments please!

C) We did a Stainless knife last year, and I love mine!
Let's do Carbon steel this year please! It is way easier to get an acute edge on the punch, IMO.

Carbon steel or a Poll? What say you??

Thanks so much Charlie, I'm for Carbon, long pull and worm bone. Oh, and a bar shield:D

Best regards

Robin

Yes carbon, bar shield and long pull. The jigging wouldn't be a deal breaker either way . Thanks Charlie

Carbon steel, long pull, and bar shield = YES.
For jigging I'd prefer amber pick bone like that used on the #38 Chapman SFO.
Thanks again, Charlie.

Carbon Check
Long pull Check

ALL in
Carbon steel
Long pull
and Bone!!!
where do I sign up!!!!:)

A) I definitely feel $1.50-$2 extra per knife would be money well spent for epic jigging, bring it on!

B) I'm indifferent, so I'd be completely behind a long pull . . . Is match strike off the table? Of still within the realm of possibilities?

C) I like stainless, but I'm fine with Carbon too. If this we going to be a Camp/Scout knife, I would be standing firm for SS, but it's not a camp knife, so let's just go with Carbon

Thanks for all your hard work! Bring on the knife :D

A. As long as it looks OK. No one woul know about the extra $2 if you hadn't mentioned it.

B. No poll. Long pull will win so what's the point.

C. Yes, there should be a poll for steel type.
