Hi, all.
As I changed my job and moved to Kamakura from Kyoto, I'm very sorry for
being off for such a long time.
Changing job sometimes makes a lots of free time that I decided to make my new knife.
It was more than one month ago when I started to pick materials up, in early march.
It's been 15 years since I made my knife last time, I forgot everything needed for knife making.
I made many mistakes and correcting them took a long hard time....

This is my shop. A small bench grinder and a drill press are everything.

the sheath, fixed with 3mm brass pins.

Knife overall 220mm with blade 90mm long and 3mm thick.
Steel M2, quenched with salt pot and tempered three times, hardened to 64+ HRc.
Handle black micarta with red sheet spacer. Bolt and guard are stainless steel.

Thanks for looking and reading.

That's a nice knife and very good work, even more so considering your shop. I take it you made the blade as well?

great looking knife man.. i really like the design a lot... looks like a perfect belt knife...

Thanks, BlackHills.
I did all works except for heat treatment, mostly by hand.

I hope this will help you.

mtnfolk mike, thanks for your favourable response.
It can be hanged on both right and left side.

Thank you, John G.
Here's a study for the handle shape. :)

Very nice knife, clean lines and a great finish.

Well done mate, with skills like that you should not wait another 15 years to do this again.

I've been trying lately to design a knife that is familiar while being somewhat unique at the same time. I've been failing miserably, but you seemed to nail it with these designs. Great work! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Very Nice.

I like the simple lines and balanced shape I see in both knives.

Thank you all for your kind responses.
It's all up to you and your nice pictures of beautiful knives or outdoor fields being kept on posted to this board.
It is you all that made me to build this knife.

Thanks again.

OK, William. M.
Blade in full flat grind.
Tang is weakly tapered, about a half thickness at the handle end.
