Why the high hardness does it give you really good edge retention?

Sorry that I led you misunderstanding.
I wanted to talk about ease of sharpening.
Salt-pot processed steel seems to have finer grain that it can be sharpened to fine edge easily.
The difference is quite significant to me that they look like a totally different steel.

These are fabulous designs! I am a fan of the geometric lines and shapes. Let me know when you start to make them full time!
