Larger runs.. Like 10-20K MOQ typically. What is the benefit, to the knife owner, of MIM vs the bent metal or a milled clip.
It seems like a manufacturing process that is cheaper than milling and might allow smaller production runs, maybe offering more choices, but I assume that a milled clip would be preferable.
Think injection molding of plastic.MIM is basically 3D printing Titanium right?
Unfortunately, I feel the same about these as the new 31 Sebenza…lacking.
But I’m just old school.![]()
Thanks, Matt!Think injection molding of plastic.
These are not sintered

This is the reason I use the Millit clip…comfort. Ahhhhhhh. Lol.I do have to say that while I have always said CRK clips are some of the best in the business, after carrying this one for the weekend and using the knife some, the new MIM clip might make the knife feel even better in hand. I really like the flat-top profile. If I don't break it from regular use in the near future, all my Sebenzas might get the upgrade.
