New Mini Mora; Eldris.

On Facebook the conversation was the price is about 27 Euros so about $30. A bit pricey but you get a ferro rod too. I will still get one or two. It would make a fun knife to add to my carving tools as well.

That's just the MSRP. Street price ought to be in the ballpark of $22.50.

When I saw the brochure, I really wanted one or three. But I agree with Larcivs if the price is $30. If they want to keep the rod and charge $10 to $12 delivered, we can do business.

Even better - maybe they can be free....

I like the looks of the Eldris, if I like how it feels in-hand I'll be getting all extravagant and buying one.

It looks nice. But Mora is getting more and more expensive. Garberg model is 99 euros here in Europe This one for 27 euros... too much money for such a short knife.
Regards.

Why don't they just offer a mini clipper or companion or something and sell it for 10$ cause there's no way that half a companion is worth 2-3X as much. Otherwise I'd definitely buy a few.

It has a compound grind (additional machine time/steps) with a more complicated sheath (snap strap retention--additional assembly time/steps) plus the firesteel. So for a total package I think the asking price is quite fair, especially with the country of origin.

Wait wait... are people really bent out of shape because this new knife is going to cost around $22? Let's put it in perspective guys. You get Mora quality and ergos for $22. Heck, if the Companion cost $22 it would still be a heck of a deal.

I'm excited, and I'll probably get one just to keep in the glove box or something so I've always got a small fixed blade around.

I can understand all that, but they should just come out with a baseline model that is just a mini companion. And don't include a firesteel ,complex sheath, or anything other than a scandi grind .

Firesteel included? Where is it located on the knife/sheath?
