New Mini Mora; Eldris.

I like it, hope the individual price is closer to $20 than $30.

My kids are 8 now and could use dedicated hiking/camping knives, I might get one for everybody in the family.

The MSRP for the knife with the neck knife kit is 42 euros...according to their Facebook page. Something like 40 USD... Hefty

That'd be an MSRP of $46.22 USD, for a street price of around $34.67

What's this about a new 2K?... :eek::thumbup:

I like the looks of the Eldris if it ends up at a reasonable street price over here LOL.

It's called the Kansbol.

Ah, very cool; thanks! I love my 2K; I was hoping for a slightly upsized version LOL...:D

Found a couple of decent pics of the Eldris & Kansbol :

I resisted the Garberg, but I will likely be picking one of these up. If for nothing else just to compare it to the 2/0 that I use as a neck knife now.

I have an original 2000, which I had a kydex sheath made for. I definitely am going to have to get this new version, and of course, the Eldris (I'm guessing Morakniv has some Idris Elba fans on the payroll LOL*) both.

I am genuinely excited to see these. Thank you for digging these pics up.

*Yes, I'm aware that it's actually the name of a Swedish village, just making a joke!

I can understand all that, but they should just come out with a baseline model that is just a mini companion. And don't include a firesteel ,complex sheath, or anything other than a scandi grind .
Buy a companion, and snap off the extra blade[emoji14]:D. I think for the price it is fine, after all it is a nice knife with more work put into it than basic Moras. I don't think I'll be buying one, only because I want a HighQ Electrician knife or a Robust first, and don't buy more than one fixed a year.

Question: Is the ground tip section still easy to sharpen?

I'm definitely buying one, this will be awesome! Can anyone tell me what the point of that bizzare compound grind is?

Looks cool. Price doesn't really bother me. It looks like a fun little neck knife for when I go camping! Everything costs more these days! Gotta get used to it! I'm Canadian so everything is expensive for me compared to my US friends.

I am very anxious to get my hands on one of these. I love my 2/0 and carry it around my neck often.

My wife thought it was cute so if I don't like it I will give it to her.

I am willing to pay up to $30 for it. Anything past that seems like too much for such a tiny knife.
