New Mini Mora; Eldris.

I got super happy seeing folder in the URL, but my hopes were crushed. It is still a nice little design, and I might get one. Stubby fixed blades are always fun.

I can get a Companion for $15. I already have several ferro rods, and I'm not paying a third to a half more for LESS knife.

I think this looks really cool and I love moras. I will probably get one to try at some point if they cost less than $25. Otherwise, I'm perfectly happy with a $15 companion.

I'd say that in terms of comparing price, on of the most appropriate models to draw a comparison with is the 2K due to its compound grind. The difference in material cost between a small knife and a normal knife is really minimal. Where the cost mostly comes from is the machine time, and with the compound grind that increases the cost because of an additional manufacturing step.

I think the most similar blade is the Mora Light-my-fire, not the 2000

It's most similar blade-wise, but the LMF knife includes the cost of the firesteel and so is a less appropriate model for the basis of cost comparison. :)

I'm glad to see them doing another knife with that grind. But I REALLY wish they'd come out with something like a Pro Robust with a full flat grind. :D

If it does end up being around $22 I'll probably still buy one, but as nice as it looks I'd rather just have the traditional scandi grind and take a few dollars off the price. Just like I'm perfectly happy with a 511 or 711 for $11 rather than paying around $30 for bushcraft model even without the slightly thicker blades either. They did say on their Facebook page it comes with the neck knife kit, so at least you do get the extras.

Looks pretty handy. I might pick up a handful for next Christmas: wife, 2 DILs, grandson, granddaughter, one for the car...

Hey! I've got a mini mora, it's my favorite.

The Eldris looks like a neat little knife. Very sheeple friendly, which is certainly something to be considered in certain countries - not least in Scandinavia.

I can see this knife being very popular with lightweight hikers. It's a small neck knife that isn't a skeletonized metal grip but for the same weight.
