It's a regular production run, not a sprint, it's just a new model, so it goes quickly;)

Hi Mike.

I want to order a Spyderco Navigator II. Being North of the border makes me concerned about the stories of customs gorillas trying to flick every knife that crosses to see if they can confiscate it:rolleyes:

The guys here say that you're pretty good at making sure that the knife gets here OK. I know we can't do anything about the Nav since it's riveted, but do I need to specify any special precautions when I order? Some of the guys say to indicate "cutlery" rather than "knife" on the order, but I don't know if that helps. Also, I imagine that I can specify USPS to avoid customs brokers, right?

Guy, let us know you want us to check how tight the blade is. If I can't flick it open, I doubt the guys at the border will be able to. Your options to ship are either USPS Global Priority (no insurance) or USPS Global Express (insured). Insurance will not cover confiscation tho...

We have been invoiced for collectors versions....they should be here today to tomorrow. Regular production "generally" is only a couple of weeks out at this point.

Vasilli, we currently only have the original 154CM version and the smooth G-10 version in Sandvic. Still waiting on the S30V. Will do some checking to see why we have not received them.
Jon, our price is 93.75. I have noticed some dealers have cut their prices to 89 and change....gotta love capitalism. Word is the Szabofly will be in extremely short supply initally due to time required to manufacture them. We have them on the site and you can backorder them now, but I have NO idea when we will have enough to fill demand.

The Szabofly is tempting, but I'm saving my knife budget for the zdp and waved delicas. Can we assume that you'll have these on the site when they finally come out?

Excuse me for my unfamiliarity with model #'s, but it says on your site that you have an available BM551SOD; the picture that comes with it looks like a plain edge but the description says that it's a combo edge. Could you please tell me which it is?

I have noticed that several knives are on in "What's new in stock" page - Kershaw SpecSpeedBump and Offset. Make me little nervous, because I always checking this page to see when will knife I am looking for came.
