maybe just Ask Jeff or see if we could buy just the scales of choice... I know that topic came up before and it was so misunderstood by most I think the idea of selling scales went down the drain as well...Since I have a pair of RC3 mils & soon to be a pair of G10 green Rc3's I may swap scale for experiment use and post my findings.... I would say buy a green RC3 and a RC3MIL and swap scales

I can't wait for your full review on the knive, I really like the pouch they put on the sheath. Like you said, perfect for the firestarter and some other small items like fishing line, etc.
