Here is the new RC-4 from RAT Cutlery.

This is just a picture thread for now. I will be doing another thread as you all know with more action real use pictures while hiking and backpacking in California and Arizona. I have been thinking of this knife since December 2007 and have my own self proclaimed hype for this knife. Just wanted to share these for now.

Let me just say this is the most comfortable knife I have handled. Rowen Manufactoring is top notch!

On with the show.

Whittling is the first thing I do with a knife. I was going to wait for the test thread but I couldn't. Do you blame me?

Hope you liked it.

I got to say thanks to Mike Perrin and Jeff Randall for coming up with such a high quality American Made product!

hey, nice pics bear.

I am thinking of picking one of these up soon. Looks awefully nice.

May I ask where you picked this up?

man.. i really like that one....:o i wish they offered it wothout the black coating as well....

We normally don't post, but thank you for the kind words Bear. We hope you enjoy the blades as much as we do manufacturing them. And just for the record, they just don't come any finer than Jeff and Mike. They have our 100% support both publicly and privately.

Thanks for the pics. Is it the pic or does the handle looks short? Hopefully that will be considered in the future for people with big mitts. Thanks.

Nice pics mate. The RC 4 looks like a very well thought out knife. I recon yours will see a lot of use in the next couple of weeks.

For those that have never had a chance to speak with them on the phone/email or been in the bush with them let me tell you that statment is very true.

Great job on the knives Rowen!

Very glad to finally see this thing in real use! I'm excited to see your field reviews. Any chance of an in-hand pic, and/or pics with other common blades like your #1? Helps to understand the handle size.

Spooky I have a #2 and a 760 that are close to your #1 if you want to see another comparison picture?
