I JUST got my RC-4S about 10 minutes ago, and I'm blown away by it. It's beautiful. If you have been thinking about getting this knife, just buy it. It looks awesome, feels awesome, and materials, fit and finish are absolutely top-notch. The green lining in the handles along the tang is such a great touch, too.

Photo Contest

At the end of every quarter in 2008, RAT Cutlery will give away a set of RAT Cutlery field knives (RC-3, RC-4 and RC-6) to one lucky winner each quarter. Alternate prizes will also be given to 2nd and 3rd place winners. To enter you must email your photo to jeff@ratcutlery.com. You will be disqualified if you do not use the correct email address or fail to follow the contest rules.



Contest Rules:

Emailed photo samples must be sized as 600 pixels (widest side) x 72 DPI.
*

Each contestant may enter up to 5 photos for each quarterly contest. If more than 5 or sent, only the first 5 will be entered into the contest.
*

Photos must be of RAT Cutlery knives. Ontario RAT knives not accepted.
*

Field photos and/or studio shots accepted.
*

Photographer must maintain a high-resolution photo on file (minimum 1800 pixels at the widest side) until the end of the contest.
*

Photographer agrees to provide RAT Cutlery a copy of the winning photo in high-resolution format.
*

RAT Cutlery has the right to publish or use the photos as they see fit, including using the photo in advertising, electronic and print media.
*

Photos will be judged by a panel of photographers on the last day of each quarter.
*

The winning photographer's name and photo will be posted on our web site and forums.

:D Damn bro...take it easy on me...I am going by the PO today...I am dying to hold my RC4 and take you guys some pictures ! but to answer you question,Yes waiting on a knife is aweful :grumpy: but I look to the half positive side,I have a RC4 in-bound just don't have it in-hand....;)

My Ostara gifts arrived today. My pre-ordered RC-4 and finally an F1. I got the serrated model because that's all that was left on the initial preorder page. They both have big clunky sheaths. I guess my sheath maker will soon have more business. :D I look forward to using both of these fine knives. The Fallkiven came scary sharp.

Thanks guys for the compliment on the photos. I really just have fun doing it and don't have the greatest camera but a passion for fun pictures. I just take so many becouse I am always looking myself for pictures of knives I like and seem to find a couple but I like lots of pictures. I am thinking there are other crazy knife nuts out there like me that like knife porn too.
 
Yeah...I am taking a beaten ...all this knife porn is killing me, knowing I have my own sexy RC4(inbound) waiting to be used & abused and pictures of the dirty deeds for your enjoyment is high on my list ...
 
You guys ain't kiddin, all these stupid sexy knife pictures are killing me (and my wallet). My girlfriend is always making fun of me for having a folder on my computer full of nothing but pretty nature shots and knife pics, every time I see a good one it goes in the folder (lots of bear's pics in there!).

Funny what makes us most happy! I think it's just like getting to vicariously use the item in question, and getting to be in such pretty places.

I got that same folder of everyones greatest hits too.

Its the little things that make people happy the most.
 
Was reading this post and mine got delivered to the door, great knife no molle sheath though gonna have to fix that.
