New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

I wanted to add to this thread as well. My first Hinderer and ZT (not my first) arrived today. New CF scale will be here tomorrow for the XM18. Love this knife...

Cool.

I created this thread with the intent for all to have a place to post their Hinderer and Hinderer-related items. And, encourage people to comment and compliment. Was also the idea of this thread to allow the photo thread a chance to stay mostly images.

Thanks to all who have shared here!

New scale :D

Recently got a Copper Investigator Pen and a new ODG scale for my S35VN XM-18 3.5". Thought I'd show 'em both off here. Also, since I prefer Fine pointed pens I replaced the Bold point Fisher cartridge with a Fine in GREEN! :) Just seems like a copper pen should put out green ink! ;)

Very nice Jon - Might wanna add one of these.... shade doesn't match but I'm color blind anyway :)

Thanks! :) I've just never been a lanyard guy, for whatever reason. (shrug)

This copper pen though has given me a serious jones to replace my black (aluminum) Maratac AAA flashlight with the copper version! We'll see....

Also, when I ordered the ODG scale I also snagged this Hinderer T-shirt! :D

Nice, green ink from a copper pen, I like it.

It is on route to me and I should have it on Friday. Will be the second hinderer ive owned sadly I let my first one run free when times got tough. At this point in my collections life I'm down to 3 knives this will make 4 and I plan to keep it!!!!!

Btw I have both scales pictured coming (bought as a package) and may sell the cf one down the line, not sure yet though. Oh ya is an xm-24 :D

Nice stuff guys.

I was planning to bump this thread just before Blade. And hope I can post something in it after Blade.

Either way, even if N2K comes home empty-handed...I'll still convey my congratulations to those who score and choose to share here.

Daamn, the ODG is dominating! I just scored a bunch of goodies in the mail today...long holiday was killin me! So i, myself, also scored an od green scale off a forum member and from the funky MonkEy I grabbed an extreme duty pen w some extras and i also pieced together a flamed ti kubaton :) ...awesome.

The selection of pens and related accessories this year was bountiful in quantity and coolness. Forced patina on copper, unique anodized Ti...if I didn't already have a few Hinderer pens I would have grabbed a couple.

Yep! Confirmation of Luck's good luck! That sweet little FDE 3 is in very good hands. It was nice to meet you!

Alittle of it installed...this textured cf scale really needs to be seen and felt in person to appreciate it. Mine in stunning! :)

Got my 3rd XM-18 3.5" Spanto Flipper the other day. This one a gen3 with CTS-XHP steel completing my trifecta of XM steels (ie, my other two are 20CV and S35VN). Here's some pics.

I put a Battleship Gray scale on it, but as you can see I have several others to choose from. :)

One of the things I really like about this gen3 is that the stonewashing is especially nice... it's heavier and more pronounced than on my stonewashed gen4. Don't know if this pic will do it justice, but see if you can see what I am talking about.

And here it is with its brothers... I call 'em the Spanto Triplets! :)

@cooldaddyfunk...textured c/f is a winner in my opinion.

@jon1all...because of the robust design, one XM meets the "need" but I fully understand adding more. For example, instead of a pair (my normal choice)..I carried four at Blade, just 'cause. Mostly because when youn begin to talk about the XM, the conversation evolves from one size to the other, etc. much easier to communicate with the items on/in hand.

If I'm able to attend Blade '14, I'll mix it up and carry a couple that I left at home this time to keep it fresh.
