Congrats to vaisforloverss, karbon & xavman91...all excellent scores! :) Special congrats to vaisforloverss...good medical news is indeed even better than a good Hinderer. Glad to hear it.
 
Final Option and jon1all- Thanks for the kind words. This forum is full of good people and it is nice to share a good knife and good news among brothers.

I have scored something REALLY special but I have not yet received it! But I couldn't keep quiet about it any longer either because I am about busting out of my chest with excitement. :D I'll have it Thursday night when I get home from the airport so I'll be posting pics first thing Friday!!!!!! I've been looking for one of these for a long time and finally landed one!!!!

I had a VERY good week. First, I found out some VERY good medical news, but this is a knife forums so I won't go into that. Second, I got my first Hinderer. It arrived on Monday while I was in Ohio, of all places. I wanted to stop by Shreve, but didn't want to invite myself. I got back last night to a very welcoming family and a very welcome package (to me, at least).

There is nothing I can say about this blade that hasn't already been said. It is very well done. The knife was with me all day at work and then the bead(s) arrived today. Like some other recent posters, two came in the package, along with the tool I ordered. Thank you Hinderer crew. I really like the copper and OD Green together. I'll keep my eyes out for the bronze ones as they and the standoffs become available again. But there is really no urgent need. This knife looks fantastic as it is.

A very hearty thank you to Rob and Rick who took my emails, and to all the folks on this forum who were the ones who ultimately convinced me to get this.

I spend most of my time over at the CRK sub-forum ... but (after a year and a half of waiting) I FINALLY scored a smooth CF scale for my lonely XM-18 3 1/2 Spanto.

This joins a blue/black G10 and bronze spacers I added a week ago or so!

I need some Steel Flame now!

Just scored a carbon scale and a set of blue stand offs. I'll now have both my "twins" sitting pretty with blue stand offs. One with a blue G10 and the other with a smooth carbon fiber.
I just can't get enough of them.

Carried the PM2 yesterday...nice knife, but not even in the same ball park as my XM's.
 
My new XM-18 w/orange scale delivered today to join my expanding XM herd...... WooHoo!! Now, Hmmmmm, what next....?
