New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

Alright........ The subject matter in the Photo as well as the Photo itself are Great but...but....but .... Wow! How did you pull off the balancing thing are you like related to Nik Wallenda or something? I can' wait to get home and try that at home.
Usually I don't try stuff at home but I think I'm safe on this one :)
Disclaimer: I'm sayin' right up front - I'm copying that BUT I saw it here first and give ALL props to CMD :D

LOL...

I was sitting here working from home and took a quick iPhone pic. I never tried it before and it worked.

Many thanks to brianml, I managed to pick up this beauty from the exchange last week. This is a Gen4 XM18 3.5" with CF scale. It is my first Hinderer and I love every inch of it!

Very nice knife and great pictures donscpoo. I have a smooth cf scale on my xm-18 also and I love it!

Yeah I still remember the first time I picked one up. Asked the owner of the local shop to see it and asked how they justified their prices. He didn't tell me how, just handed it to me. Nough said :D

Ha! Same for me, I - skeptically - asked to look at a 3", fondled it for a bit, put it back, looked around the store, came back to it and fondled it some more, put it back, left the store, got in and started truck, turned off truck, went back inside, put on layaway.

That was one month ago. I now own that 3, three 3.5s (one more on the way), and more scales than I'll ever have XMs for (maybe..), and REALLY want to make it to a GTG or other show!!

I guess you could say I've seen the light! All you guys are part of the problem with all of these pics of RHK awesomeness...

You guys are rather fortunate having local knife shops. Connecticut (at least in my general area) doesn't have much to offer.

Or maybe I'm the lucky one... ;-)

My wife and I were in a overly touristy area yesterday, there was a "knife and sword" shop and she elbows me and says "there you go, I'll wait outside if you want to look around"...

I passed, she wasn't pleased, all she wanted to do was take a picture of me going into the store in order to send it to Rick and Rob (I am not sure which one enjoys teasing me more, Rick, Rob or my wife).

:)

The local "knife shop" is a thing of the past around here probably with the adven of the internet. Used to be fun to go check stuff out.
I don't miss it now (for obvious reasons) but it was fun back then.
Now I go to my local Gun shop but those are dropping like flies too.
