Didn't the one with brass LBS have a carbon fiber scale on it? My memory is failing me on details.
 
Yes....I wasn't fortunate enough to win in the lottery but the gentleman that did approached me while I was chatting with a friend at the end of the day Sat...it was an incredible surprise as I was bummed I was still 0fer in the lotteries! It is an incredible knife...as is the deep swedge spantos...who am I kidding they are all incredible!

Thanks! I haven't carried it yet. I think it's going to be my nice dinner night carry. :) Can't seem to leave the working finish at home!

Yeah, I bought the standoffs a few weeks ago and didn't even have a 3" to put em on. Didn't even think about putting them on the DLC when I bought it, but just held em up with the CF scale last night and was like, what the heck, I'll give it a try. Turned out nicer than I anticipated. Unlike all my stonewashed and WF blades, I am a little scared to use this bad boy just yet. So it's at home in my safe and my WF is still my EDC at the moment. :-S

Don't fear to use the DLC it's some tough stuff. Someday I hope to know first-hand but these things tend to be lottery items so...
 
Finally got my 3" Spanto flipper. Best part, it was brand new!

I like that filler tab, I've gotta add one of those to my knife soon ^

I've got a carbon fiber (smooth) coming in on Monday so I'll post some pictures once I get it.
 
Check Hinderers site.. They had them in stock in both bronze and silver when I last checked
 
I had a .40 cal lbs on my 24. It looked really cool and i regret selling it. I found that it made drawing the knife out of my pocket more difficult. It tended to snag on my pocket in the way out. One good thing about that was that it added to its retention and I knew that it would never come out of my pocket unintentionally.
