Ha, that is what I have heard. I am quite thankful for this opportunity. I cannot afford the 2nd market prices and never have time to make it to gun and knife shows for a chance to enter a lottery there.
So, unless lightening strikes twice for the lotteries here on BF, I'm pretty sure this will be my one and only Hinderer.

You should be exactly what you are - Excited and bruised (because you have pinched yourself
) I NEVER see the need, in life, to try and explain away the times when I am happy or excited - doesn't happen much as it is, why not enjoy it when it does happen?

I got bored with my smooth cf scale on my 3.5 slicer so I traded it for a textured cf scale and I ordered a crusader cross handle nut for my scale side. That ought to keep me from buying another knife for a while! I love being able to change configurations on a whim.

That 3" spanto is so kewl. What a hard beast to find.
I got some smooth carbon fiber for my birthday today from my amazing girlfriend. She got me 3 gifts cause she couldn't decide which one to give me. Warning to all first time Bark River owners. They are freaking sharp. Got a 3" slice from this bad boy right off. Only the 3rd time cutting myself with my own knife since I was 12. Two of which were in the last 2 months. Guess I play with them a little too much.

3" spanto and XM-24 spanto are next on my list. Love the blade shape. That custom you have is really nice Chris. You have a couple hard to find items with the 3" spanto and 3" carbon fiber.

Nice set! I really like the CF, my goal is to get each size of each type - smooth, textured, and frag. It's slow going...
It's been a very good last week or so. The 3.5" Spanto and 3" Slicer were delivered last week. Just got the 3" Spanto in today and LOOOOVE it. Still working out the kinks on my new Nikon D3200.
