Wow, awesome GF & gifts! Happy birthday!

That 3" spanto is so kewl. What a hard beast to find.

I got some smooth carbon fiber for my birthday today from my amazing girlfriend. She got me 3 gifts cause she couldn't decide which one to give me. Warning to all first time Bark River owners. They are freaking sharp. Got a 3" slice from this bad boy right off. Only the 3rd time cutting myself with my own knife since I was 12. Two of which were in the last 2 months. Guess I play with them a little too much.

Nice set! I really like the CF, my goal is to get each size of each type - smooth, textured, and frag. It's slow going...

I'm a couple days away from doing that in titanium. :) I gotta say, seen way more TI than smooth carbon fiber lately. They are getting hard to find.

While a bit frustrating at times (especially after a near miss - I'm still bummed about just missing a gen 2 3.5" spanto w/ POND) I find the hunt to be a big part of the fun.

Yeah that one sucked. I remember that one. So should have been yours.

Not the greatest photo but here it is still warm from the mailbox and all oily like a new baby. I really like the green, I'm a fan of green G-10, here it is with a couple of it's green siblings. I think this one's a keeper.

--Updated with some better pics, the green family, and side by side with the SNG (my favorite).

Awesome, congrats - thanks for posting the pic!

Glad to see you giving it a home, unlike some that are popping up on the exchange...

It seems as though your scale matches the hew of the Hinderer Horse head logo - I think that is pretty cool

Just sayin'

I'm with AZ2AK. Thanks for posting pics! That is a great knife and a nice collection that you have. I'm glad that you hung onto it and are a proud owner and didn't use the lottery as an opportunity to line your pockets. I wish that there was a way to only have lotteries for people who actually want to own the knives being auctioned.

FLASHPOINT!!!!!! w/ c/f too! You lucky....

Happy birthday.

And with gifts like those (it's nothing to do with monies but the sentiment) ...you have a woman that cares enough to...well, care. That's pretty damn cool.

Yeah, she's amazing for sure. It shocks me sometimes when she repeats back knife names I mentioned a week earlier or knows all the Hinderer sizes or what color scale I like. She's a keeper for sure. I was kind of surprised how little the flashpoint was, but it's a slab of metal. Awesome little knife. Would love to get a regular one for a user one of these days. This one is just too special to tear up.

It's a small, no Idaho. My first CRK. The flashpoints are really small, but so cool.

They are small and for that reason I'm casually hunting for the "right one for me" because its going to live on my person. Weakside I like simplicity...nuff said.

Yeah the size is actually perfect. I used to carry an Izula on my neck but much prefer the size and shape of this. Hides perfectly.

As promised...pictures of my lotto wharncliffe, just hand-delivered by the postman! I'm really digging the OD Green. And, being my first Hinderer, it is quite an impressive knife. Terrific work.
