New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

By the way AZ2AK. Kevin retires this year and is moving back home to your state of Alaska. He was born and raised there, came out here and now is going back, everyone I have ever met from your state have all been warm and friendly!

And yes that big smile of his has something to do with me running to his truck, saying gimme, gimme.
 
N2K - yup I was very careful to include the 's' when I wrote that ;)

FO - good for him! Although shorts might not be an option all the time :) Yeah, people up here tend to be fairly laid back. I know I'm happy to be here, I love this place! Plus, there's lots of firearms and booze up here, it pays to be friendly and polite ;)
 
Man I wished I lived up there. I hate hot. Gotta say, AK is one place I have always wanted to visit.

Yeah, anymore if it's over 75F I get hot. Being from AZ heat didn't bother me too much until I got stationed in the SE US and discovered ungodly humidity.

We fell in love with this place the first time we were stationed here and tried to get back ever since. Eventually might do the snowbird thing and get a winter home in AZ somewhere..

If Rick & Rob brings the XMs I'll host a AK GTG!!! ;)

I just scored my grail of all grails! Ive been looking for a fieldtac for as long as I can remember, its been years now. One just fell into my lap on the same day that I gave up and deleted my WTB Fieldtac Sig line, and its a working finish (which Ive been dying to see in person) and its a spearpoint which is my favorite hinderer blade shape! Can you believe that!? Seriously go check the dream build that I posted a few months ago and this was it! I had to sell off all of my CRKs and Emersons to get it, but honestly I only carry my Hinderers anyway. So my whole collection has been whitteled down to (2) XM-18 3.5s, (1) XM-24, a TAD Dauntless MK-1, and this Fieldtac and Im good with that!!! Ive been looking for the fieldtac for so long that I dont know where to go from here. I need to find a new Hinderer grail now. Probably going to be a wharnie. :)

Amazing blade! It's a wonderful feeling it must be to get your grail. Personally, my favorite time is the anticipation until the package arrives.
