Hey, a confirmation email is still exciting! It means that the wait in almost over:thumbup:. Thanks for the compliment on the wharnie and pics. I loved the blue scale the first time I saw it on this knife and got lucky on the exchange last week.

It also came with an ACU camo scale, but that one might find it's way to the gear exchange (not really my thing).

And man, an XM-24 wharncliffe would be quite the beast!

Yep I, too, am now looking forward to Wed! I agree the anticipation is a HUGE part of the experience, can't wait to see what hump day brings!

I've spoke with my man "Kevin" he said everyone has been briefed on the "special delivery", he may even be re-assigned to this project. All kidding aside, I also am living vicariously through you for Wednesday.

 
Im excited to see what Rubi reels in tomorrow! Hes building the suspense....something tells me its sweet....something tells me I MAY even have a SLIGHT clue what it may be... ;):) but, maybe not. have to wait and see!
 
Yes, I too am eagerly awaiting Wednesday :) a "Hint" could be/would be - it IS a Knife and it is a Rick Hinderer Creation.

As with Most of my Hinderers, this one comes to me in a special way and with a story so... it will arrive and never leave for that reason.

Just happens to (as I mentioned) encompass several attributes that have long been enumerated on my "Wish List" in top positions:)

Which would lead to a hint .... not my skinner.

Here's to safe travels for Kevin and his peers - Drive safe and timely and be mindful of "your" boxes for they contain "treasure" for some. :)

I'm with you J81, damn delivery people, don't they know that we are like a bunch of expectant fathers waiting for the delivery of a newborn! BTW J81 did't get a chance to comment on your pictures of Fiedtac, I was traveling. They definitely showcase an absolutely beautifully designed and executed fixed blade, well done my friend.

History arrived NIB... How often does that happen :) Sincere Thanks to my Friend and all around great person who afforded me the opportunity to own a piece of RHK History and a Fine one at that. Trully Amazing. I will spare you my feable attempts at cell phone photograhy considering the Pics that already exist. I will say that handling the piece - the Pics do not convey the exquisite attention to detail and refinement this Custom Creation conveys.
Gotta include the evidentiary photos too:)

Wow! Rubi, that is a truly incredible piece of knife art! The RHK historical aspect makes it even cooler.

Kudos to your "friend"!! (I need to work on my interpersonal skills and make some friends like that ;) :D )
