New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

That pen is awesome. Congrats!!! I want a clip with a darkness skull for my brass investigator. I don't think they are just going to do the clips though. :(

Congrats on the pen. I was kinda wanting one and watched for it but missed them.

I stalked the RHK website since I first saw these. I have a slight addiction to skulls right now.

Thanks, clip only should definitely be an option.

When I saw that Pic, my jaw dropped and I heard me say, "Holy Crap"

That's how I felt when opening the package.

So, I know, no pictures (yet). BUT, just nabbed a production Wharncliffe from the exchange to replace my lotto-won wharncliffe that I had to sell last month. I'm very excited (again) to get it and will throw some pictures on here as soon as I have it!

Yes! My new Wharncliffe!

very cool 500, is that the brittish racing green scale?? like an old jag? you never really get a good idea of the scales until they are in hand, you can check pics all you want, but its dif. when staring at it, esp on the knife. I have a dark red scale for a 3.5 18...seems killer, but even still I cant tell because I havnt mounted it yet.

anyway, great score dude, shes a beaut'!! your gonna love it! I almost need to get a production Wharnie in the future to actually USE. Im sorry guys, but I cant bring myself to use my customs, atleast not yet, maybe after a few years under my belt, and a better relation with RHK. Im just afraid to do scratch that gorgeous satin. so, maybe before any more customs, Ill try to get my hand on a production Wharncliffe as time goes by and they get less rare. because this wharnie would make the perfect user, but I just cant bring myself to do it, it peeves me if I even get fingerprints on the satin! but give me a SW production Wharnie for a fair price when my pockets are ready? Ill use the ever loving crap outta that thing like my bronze/camo 24 (EDC, and I do mean all D E D) :p

Thanks CoolD! I think it's the "dark green" hinderer scale. It actually looks a little darker than in these pictures. Would love to get the Ti anodized bronze or blue and try some other scales. Not sure who around BF can do that kind of work for me. Not sure if I can bring myself to use this one. I really want to but it would suck to get it scratched. I have a large micarta Sebenza that I use all the time. But I think I need to "ease into" using this bad boy. Give it time... LOL

Only official anodizing is warranty approved. Send Rob O. an e-mail to inquire when/if they can fit your XM into the schedule for some added color.

Just ordered my first Hinderer (XM-18) from GPK on Friday. Orange G10 scale. I'm very excited.

This has been a BIG year for me: Strider SnG and PT. Spyderco PM2, Native 5, and ZDP-189 Delica 4. Benchmade Emissary, 530 Pardue, and 940 Osborne. Chris Reeve Knives Small Sebenza. Zero Tolerance 0560, and 0566 (pre-order). And now the XM-18. I need a break!

Edit: forgot the Emerson Mini CQC-7 and Spartan Blades Enyo.

^ Wow that is a big year. I once had a collection similar to that. Then I got my first hinderer. I wish I had bought the hinderer first. I would have saved myself a sh*t ton of money. Congrats on the XM-18. You will love it. :)

^ Yes. I would say that it did. Congrats on the wharnie. Mine rarely leaves my pocket. Great knife!

Haha TGIM...never thought I'd hear that one! Mondays DO seem to resemble christmas here sometimes! I didn't get anything in, BUT, I got my conf. Email that my brass n bronze beads shipped!!! :)

Congrats on the wharnie! Man, I love that blue scale, I really do. Miiight have to pick one up sometime! I got a dark red xm18 scale if anyone's interested in a tradeski.

Great pics too by the way. I'd love for a production xm-24 wharnie to thrash on! Maybe one day?? ;):D

Yes. Yes, I do. Have mentioned just that to many a member awaiting an arrival - hope it sank in or they would miss a Big part of the experience.

As for my "arrival" to say it is biblical (for me) would be a slight understatement. It will be my "Crown Jewel"
a coming together in one piece about five(5) or so aspects of the RHK/Hinderer/Knife - Hobby.

Big Day. Special. the Person who extended the opportunity probably doesn't realize how much. ;)

That's awesome. I'm excited for you. I can't wait to see what it is. It sounds like its going to be incredible.
