New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

^ nice NM08SRT8. It looks great on there. Those are hard to come by. Your other gear is not too shabby either.
 
Thank you. Yeah it was quite a search and rescue to find one.. But things played out just right for me to finally get one.

Funny thing with the smooth cf scale.. It gives the knife a more 'premium' feel.. And I am assuming when I eventually land my hands on a Ti scale, it will give this knife the hard tank feel. (Miss my full Ti 3.5" :( lol)

Tank is a good word.... That's really what they feel like. I was contemplating using mine as a bottle opener the other day. The end where the "Hinderer" is. Talked myself out of it though. Kinda looked like I could get the cap in there and pop it off though. Just chickened out :D

As cool as it would be to open a beer with a hinderer (I bet it would work wonderfully), I too would be worried about marring the knife when i could easily use many other readily available tools to open a beer. I understand your apprehension.
 
A custom spearpoint 3.5 xm-18, my first custom Hinderer:D. gonna switch the orange scale out for the smooth carbon fiber from 3.5 flipper.


 
That is incredible extra stout! I love the spearpoints. Plus it's nonflipper and bronze anodized! Very very nice score. Congratulations!
 
Extrastout, I love that bronze anno on that custom spearpoint. Nice score! I have some brass standoffs (thanks again Kwazy) and some blue Ti standoffs coming. Too bad I only have one XM:) I am going to do a comparison when they get here tomorrow to decide which standoff go best with a dark green scale. I will put up pics when I can.
 
She might not look like much just yet (She'll get dressed up tonight), but this one means a lot to me. :) It's my first official direct from Hinderer win. Won it in the quick draw on the green site.

@meluck... Very nice. Love the translucent... Never would have thought to put blue with it but they really compliment each other! Kewl stuff!
 
I'm a big fan of the blue hardware & trans scale - handle screws would totally complete the package!!

Yeah I'm in for handle screws too... I think they would look sweet on my stonewashed Ti slicer.
 
Woo Hoo - New Slicer with a blue Ti pivot. Blue standoffs and new scales on the way! (Got a new PM2 sprint too lol!)

scored 2 sweet knives today! except one Im not allowed to have until christmas! :o:p

heres the new EDC, production Wharnie, I believe from this past plaza show lottery. Green/Black, I dig it. It was a b*tch keeping myself from using the custom Wharnie...ALL I wanted to do was use it, but to me, shes too purdy to scratch...so I had to get one I could use everyday at work! no money spent, traded off the last few non Hinderer knives I had for this one, w the exception of a Halo V tanto I cant bring myself to sell :D. also nice carrying an XM-18 for a change instead of the XM-24.

This FXM is the total bomb...this is a team effort from my family for christmas...super cool of them, so this ones going away until the jingle bells rock. :) I really love the look of the working finish and the smooth CF, also my first slicer! the slicer grind is MUCH more appealing than I was expecting just based of pics...I really like it. this things built like a MFin TANK, and the molded sheath is super SUPER bad ass! gonna be hard to wait till xmas! I might wanna EDC this bad boy for the winter.

Cooldaddy, I'm tottaly jealous of that FXM!! Haha! That's going to be real hard not to go sneak and fondle that bad boy!!

I just picked up a wharnie too last week!! I've been to lazy to take some pics yet... I'll try

I do love those wharnie's!! Sweet ass blades! Almost wicked looking. Digging that green/balck scale on there bro!!
