My spearpoint arrived today, switched out the organge scale for a smooth carbon fiber and then the party began!



 
Wow, beautiful knife. Looks like a great pattern on the CF also. Been meaning to throw my CF on my bronze ano to see what it looked like. Love the combo you have going on there. :)
 
Nice spearpoint, congrats! A custom satin SP is working it's way up on my list of "must haves".

I agree w/ CFD - bronze accents look great w/ the smooth CF..
 
I have a Bronze ano pivot screw, but I added it on my stock slicer (which I originally bought the smooth carbon fiber scale for) along with copper standoffs. This combo looks great with the earth brown scale (I personally like it more than with the smooth carbon fiber scale). The custom looks good enough to me, don't want to alter to much of Ricks personal craft.

Scored both of these Gen 4s this week. Just got the Spanto today from UPS, then I checked the mail and there were some blue standoffs in there. It's been a good week.

Scale came in, Bapple you made two people happy today!! Thanks! Gonna keep brass on for now since it meant for a quick scale change. It's gonna look great with blue hardware and standoffs!

Nice scale!! Yeah, textured CF just seems to "go" with everything..

So Bapple, you wouldn't happen to have an extra 3.5" two-tone Ti frag scale just laying around needing a home by chance...... (or another Pond scale....) ;)

Thanks, Michael. I have a couple new items as well that just came in the mail. Got a couple "decent" scales in...........:D














I love the grip on these scales. Very nice to look at as well! I also got a battleship gray scale in for my xm-24, and it is freaking sweet. I put it on first, and forgot to take a picture before I put the textured CF on. Maybe later I'll swap it out again. It looks great with the blue Ti accents also. Will look even better when my blue handle screws come in on monday :thumbup:
