Thanks man! I've been wanting to try them out for a while and happened upon a site that had one of each left in stock. Very excited about that :)

I wish I could've come across some bronze handle screws though. I found some blue ones yesterday, but bronze were gone from all dealers. I know Rob said some should be up on the site sometime next week, but it seems like I'm never online when they pop up and I miss out. Hope I can snag some!
 
Textured C/F rocks for both grip and looks....only thing I like better on my XMs is textured Ti.

It's VERY ergonomic. The sheath is perfect. Holds when it needs to, let's go with just the right amount of pull. It was smaller than I thought it would be based on pics, but crazy sharp. Just a wicked little blade.
 
Not that it isnt perfect already but.... Blue ano screws and blue ano lanyard bead would look great on there. Assuming the handle screws are the same as the XM pivot screws. :) Or just leave it alone and bask in its awesomeness.
 
New to the hinderer club. 3.5" xm 18. Came with acu scale. Also got orange scale and swapped it out (always wanted an orange knife).

Congrats SVT. The orange scale really pops. Works great if you want to use the knife in the great outdoors.

That's was the idea. I'm no tacticool mall ninja or wanna be operator lol. I use mine working on property in woods, outdoor cooking, gardening, and in car building so I wanted something that I could find if dropped. Hopefully land scale side up.... Bwahaha. I do love digicam though so I'll swap for a change of pace sometimes. I also like the bright blue and super bright reds. I'll prolly pick up some of those eventually.

SVT welcome aboard, orange scale iconic with XM18 spanto grind favorite combo among first responders, easy to locate.
