Rubi thanks for noticing, you looked pretty casual as well.

BTW the wife is also interested in knives as well, she entered her name for the door prizes and won a Dan Winkler Belt Knife at the Plaza Show last October. If only I can get her to win in the Hinderer Lottery at one of these shows!

Still loving that shirt!

Yeah, it is a pretty cool shirt  I probably posted this before but threads fade away. I wore that tee-shirt to the knife show then again at the GTG at the Ranch.
On my way home. we stopped at the "Arts Festival" in Penn State and I was walking around having fun, minding my own business.
My Wife says, "You are getting the nastiest stare downs I've ever seen, people are actually spinning around to stare at you".
I of course made light and said something like, " See, You're a lucky Woman". :)
"I think it's that tee-shirt of yours" she says :grumpy:
" Like I said, You're a lucky Woman, now where's that ice cream?"

Some folks;) aren't as "tolerant" as they would have people believe or are portrayed in the media lets say..... just sayin'.

I wonder what they would have done if they knew what I was walking around with concealed in my pants :) (Hint:I have a permit for it)

Then there's the Gun and Knife too!

Ditto on the tolerant stuff, doesn't apply in some circles, reminds me of a poem that is fitting for you Rubi maybe the wife can put it on another shirt for you to wear when you go visiting the kids on campus.

Lord, make me fast and accurate, let my aim be true and my hand faster than those would seek to destroy me.

Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be....

If I only had my gun, and Lord if today is truly the day that you call me home,
Let me die in a pile of empty brass!

If she prints it up I take size. XL

Got me my first Hinderer today. Ordered direct less than a week ago and can't say better words for the customer service I got from Rob. Quick, accurate and very friendly responses and very easy to deal with. I'm going to be carrying this today at work hoping to put it to good use. It's too nice of a knife not to use the hell out of it!

3.5 flipper slicer blade.

We'll need XL's to fit it all :) Great poem, I remember it now that you mention. I love poems/sayings etc - stimulates thoughts and processes.

We had a little GTG at the house last weekend and is often the case, one of the boys usually says "take em' downstairs, take em' downstairs" (to see the shop and some of the "toys") I do so hesitantly usually depending on who it is and the age etc.)
This particular trip, my Niece and her Boyfriend ( nice young people, just graduated from college and starting out) asked alot of good questions, I guess it was a big hit based on the phone call to my wife the next day from SIL. " They would not shut up about Uncle Scotts this and that". I always look at those times as an opportunity to mentor and educate as well as dispell some of the crap that gets stuffed into their skulls (making them mushy and afraid)
Her Boyfriend asked, "Why do you have ALL these guns and ALL this ammo?"
I simply said, " Because this is all I could fit, so far". :)

" why a .45?" "Cuz they don't make a .46"
" why 3 mags?" "I didn't have room for 5"
stuff like that

Educate as many as possible, the "system" isn't doing much of that.
