New run of 54s

Yep it's pretty alright. Ebony for 145. You do get a cool etch and long pulls/northfield treatment. I think I am gonna pull the trigger on one myself.

I think it did! I have a snakewood single on order from DLT. If it comes out anything like yours, I will be quite happy.
 
Oh yes, will be stalking the mailman soon. I picked up a couple of the MG's. At least that will tide me over till the single blade invoices show-up... someday... hopefully.

Appreciate the nice comments Alan. I also have the snakewood, appaloosa, and burlap singles on preorder, can't wait! Still contemplating pulling trigger on a beaver tail which essentially means signed, sealed and delivered with my sickness. :)

Oh no, and you haven't seen the blood red jigged bone yet... I have the same "sickness"... when to stop! My justification for this run is I have too many sub 4" knives 14/15/72/77/85.... I like all of them, but am wanting for GEC 4" + size frames.
 
If you click on "Shop" then you'll see it there. Doesn't seem it was posted to their front page. That is a good chunk of money though...If they're still there in a few days I may grab one.

That's perfect justification for me too, I am very low on 4"+ frames. I'm sure I will be sucker for blood red too and somehow justify in my mind getting the whole single blade series.
 
Looks like the M&G's are history..... That was pretty quick!

Beautiful knives just the same. Between the choice of covers and the blade etch, it was like taking a step back in time with this Moose pattern. A well done SFO in my opinion and another real showcase of the #54 frame.

It must have been a glitch. They are both still available.
I picked up an Ebony as well. I've had my eye on the Ebony and Desert Ironwood since early on. I'm also waiting on a pre-order for a Blood Red Jigged Bone.

The singles with Appaloosa Bone covers are running now the gec site pic makes me think I may change my mind and try to snag one.
 
I really want one of those Maher & Grosh Honey Bone 54's but I'm trying to exercise some restraint. I'm carrying my 53 Cuban Stockman today in an attempt to tame the desire.

I adore my 53 but my plan isn't working. I still want that M&G even though I know I won't carry it.
 
Rick, I feel ya! Those moose are so freakin cool, but I know it wont get carried.
The blade etch is just to cool to mess up!

Still, I may eventually weaken...
