New sebenza prices for 2005

To me, the Devin Thomas Damascus performs extremely well. It is hair-popping sharp, and stays that way. Just use that RIG periodically and you should be golden.

All I can say is that, IMNSHO, the Mnandi (yes, I know this is supposed to be a Sebenza thread) is worth whatever price tag Chris wants to stick on it and the same goes for the Sebbie (see I told you I knew this was a Sebbie thread). But I have quit trying to convince people that CRK knives are the best in the world, UNC basketball is the best NCAA program of all time, that God exist, that Clapton is a better guitar player than Jimi and that Coltrane was and is the best jazz musician of all time. It only matters that I know these things.

I can't wait to get me one personally... The price raise?? So? Steel, dairy, etc.. is steadily rising if not jumping up in the market. I wouldn't want Mr. Reeve to subject his knives to a lower standard to meet prices of penny pinchers.

Well said ..now more than ever you get what you pay for; there is no free lunch. Im sure its costing chris more to build a sebenza than it did 4 years ago, so a few more bucks wont hurt. as far as which sebenza as a first, it doesnt matter they are all great, you cant go wrong with any.
