New show - Human Weapon

Hey, they finally won a final competition. It was MMA and Jason won and Bill got a draw. Jason looked pretty good, but Bill looked really sloppy.

It's not going well for my prospects of fighting on the show.
Having TV people here really brought out the nuts and made some people with bad hearts suddenly start making fools of themselves.
I think they specifically want a portion of the show to see shurikenjutsu, so Im pretty sure you will see me do something...

I enjoyed the Krav Maga episode. I was a little skeptical about the knife blocking technique they illustrated in the early part of the show... a Krav Maga student is shown repeatedly landing stabs with a rubber knife on both of them in normal grip... then the instructor shows them how to block and attack when it's a slow, singular overhand attack in reverse grip. Why not teach them how to defend against the many blows landed on them minutes prior?

They said they wanted to train for one week and learn some moves and then use them in a challenge match.
The thing is, we don't use "moves."
That's just not enough time to learn much of anything.
I said "You're better off just watching Hatsumi Sensei and then trying to copy what you saw."
Well, they have been coming to all of the classes and training. (but they missed Nagato Sensei's wednesday class ,which was a terrible shame.)
We'll see what happens tonight.

I spent about three hours with Bill and Jason today. It was kind of odd that they didn't have any kind of script or serious preparations ready. They just had us set up our targets and start throwing in a park. Of course, there were problems because they didnt know what they were going to do or say until they got there.
Bill and Jason seemed like nice enough people. I liked Bill more, he seemed more friendly and down to earth. Possibly because a friend of mine left him with a huge goose-egg on his forehead. tee hee
Anyway, I dont know what you might see of me in the episode, but I might be in it. You never know. I know I had some speaking parts and some shuriken parts, but the editors have their own ways of doing things..

Yeah, they typically highlight a few moves in each episode and discuss a few of the physics for the viewers.

"...causing the opponent to crap his pants at 75 miles per hour... that's enough velocity to break the jaw, or shatter the skull!"

I'm guessing that these guys must have been graduates of The Teaching Company
Lectures

By Listening only minutes a day, imagine what you can learn.....

What have we learned about ninjas, class?
OOOh OOOh, professor pick me

Yes?

Ninjas are mammals?

Exactly! 50 points for Gryffindor!

I think they should have aired the Marine episode AFTER the Krav Maga one, if only because the latter looked more severe in my eyes.
