Rocklobster looks amazing.
Lum is a for sure.
Gonna have to get a rookie and a native when they come out too...
Nice job Sal et al!

OK, now I need.....

two CF Native IV's
one Sage
one or two Phoenix's
one PE Aqua Salt

I want a rocklobster, What will the steel be on those? (sorry if it has been said and I missed it)

Oh this is wrong!!! I just heard about a lawyer who is suing some casinos in Atlantic City because she is blaming them for her gambling addiction and total financial meltdown.

With all these enticements Spyderco is offering, it's like free drinks, limo rides and VIP treatment at the casino. ;)

Okay, seriously now. God bless Spyderco for their innovation. This year and next should be some of the best ever for them. Exciting times for all of us.

While I'm sure I'll end up with more than a few of the new models, I've got to say this is the one that makes my heartbeat faster. Looks like a FG g10 Ayoob that’s tip up! Mr. Blonde, if your familiar with the Ayoob at all, would you say they feel/ point similarly?

Actually, I'm not that famliar with the Ayoob. This Khukri folder was surprisingly lightweight to me. It didn't point like an MBC knife to me, if that makes any sense, more like an ultra-ergonomic utility folder. THe handle doesn't lock in you grip as say a Native or Li'l Temp.

Thanks for all the great pictures. You're time is definately appreciated and your pictures are great!

Any word if the Embassy will be available with a plain edge?

The Embassy will be offered in PE, there were two SE variants. Either the PE wasn't ready yet or somebody made a mistake when filling up the spyderpac.:D

I still have one more batch of pics to share. First up are these sharpening stones. Sal and Eric told us a bit about the production process. Now I know that

when these stones get out of the furnace, they're hotter than lava and technically an 'ash'. They're also so durable, these stones should be around for a few

millenia. When the pyramids have crumbled, these stones should still be around

The 3x5 Ultra Fine stone is intended for carpenter/woodworkers and knifeknuts of course.

The Slip Stone is more specific to sharpening the blades of woodworkers. The curve has no stops or 'breaks' in it, it is perfectly rounded.

The last stone of this meet, is one that I really want to pick up. It hasn't been named yet, but it's a ceramic version (ultra fine) of the Duckfoot

sharpener. Sal is still looking for a suitable name for this stone. I would suggest something like 'pendulum', 'rosetta stone' or 'platypus stone' (they have

duck-like feet right?).

This last entry of my report, is the item I liked best at the show; the Baliyo. This one is really addictive! It's a pen, adult toy, kid's toy,

balisong-substitute, skill toy you name it. Spyderco has had this one in 'secret development' for over 2 years. It takes a little getting used to, as the

Baliyo is a bit lighter than your average balisong, but it does work. Pretty soon, some of the trick I learned in my early teens came back and I was flipping

the Baliyo with Eric's approval. Eric is IMHO a true magician with a Baliyo or a Balisong for that matter. Anyways, the Baliyo is one of those items that

could really take off and sell to many markets in many variations.

I wasn't familiar with the Fisher space pen cartridge and it writes very nice. The nib can be screwed out and in, to protect the pen's tip and use it for

writing. Even my wife took a shine to the Baliyo, and she really doesn't like me playing with a bali. Mostly because that means I'll be whining for a

band-aid within minutes. No such risks with the Baliyo.

That's all folks!
