I don't understand whats all the fuss about the strider. Can somebody explain it to me?? I am confused :confused: :confused:

Yes, the point I was making in running across this info is that the Strider MCSOCOM @ $400 - $450 of two years ago has hardly dropped in value.
 
I've been trying to decide for some time on which knife to spend my hard-earned $$$.$$ - Sebenza or Strider MARSOC. Been leaning toward the MARSOC.
After reading the above posts, and especially after reading Mr. Strider's comments and seeing how he comported himself in the face of such abysmal bullsh*t, my money will be spent on a Strider.
 
I happen to think that new members come here and see other new members getting blasted for not using the "search" feature in lieu of starting a new thread. So, instead of making that mistake, they use the "search" function, end up with an ancient thread, post their comments, and then get blasted for "resurrecting an old thread". Just an observation.

I guess the rule/s of thumb should be, a) don't start a new thread on an already discussed topic b) use the "search" function c) only post in a thread if there wasn't a total flame-fest, and d) make sure the thread is fairly current. How does that sound?

Don't pay attention to people who complain for the sake of complaining. Bladeforums is indexed by search engines and as well reference threads come up all the time in online discussions. It is hardly out of line to thus bring them back up for ask for updates or considerations which were not made at that time. It however should not be that difficult for the software to note the last post time in a reply and thus confirm posting if a significant amount of time has passed.
