Signal mirrors are fantastic. When I was younger, I used to do microwave path alignments. The farthest flash that we ever got was 20 miles, tower-to-tower. Then you have to deal with the "fresnel effect" which brings the curvature of the earth into the equation... But I digress

Last night's show was the most "relevant" to me, as it was more of something that could actually happen in my world.

It was nice to see him make the fire with the flashlight. Cool stuff!

Nice to see him continuing to bring along a fixed blade along with his ever present Leatherman Charge.

The horse episode looks cool next week.

Really cool show!

I thought the guitar trap was a little much.....but I guess it's just another idea to throw out there.

Seems like he could have tried to grab the LED firestarter instead of just letting it burn up so he could use it again if need be.
