New Terminology: Regular Carry Rotation

I EDC a knife. That means a knife is part of my everyday carry. To me, it doesn't have to mean a particular knife. I don't wear the same clothes everyday, and I don't go to the same places everyday. I might not even use the same car everyday. So why should I have the same knife everyday?

We already had this out in the Traditionals forum and came up with QK. Quotidian Knife.

None of these are acronyms. Acronyms spell out a pronounceable word, like SCUBA or NATO.

These are all just initialisms.

You Sir, are 100% correct.

However, many writers and publishers consider them the same. I doubt if most people know if there is a difference.

As my fellows have stated, 'tis a good idea..... So say we all!

Now, thread needs moar pics!

It's a rare case when someone actually "EDC's" a knife for 3+ years. I'd say 95% of us phase out our knives within 6 months or less.

Just like RCR, it's a phase:p;)

I like it, Stabman :thumbup::D

I've recently added another Military and Sebenza to my RCR.

Good choices. :)
A ZT 0801 went into my RCR, and it's been a nice surprise how well it does in that role.
One of those knives that feels better in the hand than I thought looking at it on a screen.
I thought the handle looked funky, but it actually curves in all the right places.

The 0801 is such a great knife. Functions well and looks good doing it!

I also like the term "user" it's just one more letter, and it says everything people need to know. I don't keep it on a pillow in a safe, I use this one.

It sure does, and it's not even too big. :)
I generally go for slightly bigger knives, but it seems to...act bigger than it is, for want of a better term.
Definitely well-designed.
