I did the deal with him a few days ago, before anything was posted about him. I also was not a bladeforums member prior to this event. I assume you have misread my post..

I sold the knife on Wednesday to him. I didn't ship yesterday because i was busy, so i was planning on doing it today. 30 minutes before the time i was planning to ship, i found the link to this thread posted on a facebook knife trading page. I will have no further business with him. Hard to assume anyone in their right mind would do business with someone like him AFTER finding all this out....
 
It’s just another route for someone to take to get ahold of him. His father info was posted but there’s no issue with that???
 
If someone ripped you off. would you not like to have a way to get ahold of the kid he’s deleting everything fast and trying to cover all his trails. By no means do I want people to go after her or be rude or harass her.
She is willingly on social media without a private account anyone could’ve found her anyways.
 
My friend from work said his name doesn’t sound familiar, but apparently from his address he lives literally right down the block from my friend. We could pay him a visit this weekend?
 
Let's please not bring his mom into this... I realize it's technically and legally okay to share someone else's personal info online, but doesn't it give you a bit of a guilty feeling posting his mother's information on a public forum?
 
His mother isn't a memeber here and his father isn't either posting their info is wrong. Sucks that this guy did what he did but posting his parents info is bs. You want to contact them feel free but leaving their info here to be harassed is not right.

^^^ This. If I'm ever doxxed for the behavior of another person, I'll be looking only to protect myself, and will be of NO help to anyone on the offending forum. That would include taking any legal recourse I had available.

FWIW- I was scammed on Archerytalk (sold a bow and the kid reversed charges later) anyway, I found Mommy and Daddy's info.... Sent a nice informative letter and was OVERNIGHTED a postal money order for the ammount plus a little extra. So it might help to contact the parents.
