New to Busse / Kin Family - New Pics!!

Congrats on your purchase... and welcome to the rest of your life when you count your savings in number of knives...

Thanks! The funny part is that’s what I’ve been doing with my guns forever. I’m pretty fulfilled in that area now, so it’s on to knives which was really what started it for me.

I loved knives as a kid, but once I could buy guns it all went a bit hazy...

No!! Stop! You are on the road to perdition. Save yourself before it's too late. Sell that knife, or give it away. Clear your browser history, and delete your cookies. Forget you ever saw this place.

Lest you become a hollow shell of your former self, broke, credit cards maxed out, no college fund for your children. Glued to the Busse site 24/7/364, drinking too much cheap whiskey. A dissipated man.

Not that I would know anything about all that....

Hmmm.... Where have I heard that story before?

Oh yeah....

Your post is the embodiment of the problem here... and I blame Bravado (technically his absence and policing) for that...

RMD has been called the 'gateway drug' for Busse & Kin addiction for a long time!
It was my first back in what seem to be shrouded by mists of time...

I was writing pretty much this same line. Agreed 100%. welcome to the group. now the never ending turmoil of "should I get "fill-in the blank" knife or should I not get "fill-in the blank" knife and the many reasons we tell ourselves we just have to have it. lol.

New here and just got my first Kin knife today. I would have posted in the Swamp Rat forum, but it seems dead there.

Knife is awesome and I'm currently looking for my first Busse knife...can't wait for the next offering. I think I'm officially addicted.

Already sort of maybe looking for an SFNO...so many I missed out on.

Welcome to the Busse Forum!
Or as a lot of us have discovered, Jerry's Hotel California! -- ;)

The RMD is a great first blade!:thumbsup:
There's never been a better time to be into Busse/Kin. New offers are still happening and they're a lot of options in the Exchange.

Thanks a lot everyone....I already bought another one from @Nitaino ...LOL...

Let me see who is still reading this. A question when it comes to coated knives.

It would seem to me, that if I am mostly collecting these knives, that buying a coated INFI blade compared to a coated SR101 blade is probably counterproductive? Am i right about that?

Meaning, if I'm going to spend the money on INFI, it should be uncoated, and if I want a coated blade, save the money and just buy a Battle Grade knife.

Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Each offer is different and not all are offered as BG in SR-101.
You can certainly save a bunch of $$ grabbing BG coated versions where you can, and get more different models!

I'm into Shiny steel and am snapping up everything I can in CF/Satin/BIG.
