Love your RMD color combo. Popped my cherry on a Rodent 7 and it was like a crack addiction from then on. I need to thin the herd, but I can't seem to part with any of them. Just received 2 Big Finish MMDs (Mountain Man Du) in INFI and SR77, these are keepers. I try to use all my knives, but my oldest daughter just started college so I'll probably have to sell less frequently used (or unused) knives. I won't be able to add any more to my collection for a while either. Sad, but I get to used most of the ones I have anyway.
Welcome to the discovery of excellent knife construction and materials.
This is my life, minus family the kids going off to college...I started with an R6 (Rodent 6) direct form shop, and then I went straight for INFI for a long while and now mixing back in some SR101 via the Swamp. I prefer The Swamp to Battle Grade, different handles and all that...
I procrastinate so much when it is "sell time"...never met a Busse I did not want to keep. I've hardly ever met a knife I did not want to keep....
Trying to keep some sort of balance though!
Welcome Jagamov - you have great taste in my opinion...some of my all-time favorites you listed, and others are correct:
If you went SFNO, you have to go both the ASH route and the NO route...it is a must do...
So, next is NMSFNO, FFG SFNO and/or Saber SFNO, .22 Vs .25, Convex Vs V, and ASH1 (SKINNY, FAT, "REGULAR"), ASH2, NMFSH, FSH, HOGFSH, HHFSH, and ten there are the....jeez! It is nuts!
I was an "SFNO guy" over the ASH'es until I got a skinny ASH, and it made me re-think the whole relationship/line-up...
The RMD's of any variety are one of the best knives ever created, in my opinion.
