New to Busse / Kin Family - New Pics!!

Welcome to the madness, our new convert. My first Bussekin was also an RMD. Second was a Skinny ASH1. And as Andy would agree, you need to have at least one ASH1. I lost count somewhere around 14. And please look at the site: Busse Bad Mojo. Much info, and many, many wonderful photos. Stay as sane and as grounded as possible.

Already sort of maybe looking for an SFNO...so many I missed out on.

Grab one if you can. I waited way too long to pick up a NMSFNO. Great blade.

I am one bad day from moving underneath a bridge but I’ve managed to hold onto my busse, swamprat(a mmd in sr-77) and various folders but who needs a house anyways? If you buy them on the exchange they can be an investment, sold before car insurance lapses or the kids need braces!

OP, finally got my RMD in the mail yesterday. Love the handle already. It's like there's a magic feel to the knives right out of the tactical cardboard.

Nice! That looks vaguely familiar. I know what you mean about the feel. The first thing I noticed was how well it fit my hand and how nice it felt.

Nice pictures everyone else. I love looking at these things.

Love your RMD color combo. Popped my cherry on a Rodent 7 and it was like a crack addiction from then on. I need to thin the herd, but I can't seem to part with any of them. Just received 2 Big Finish MMDs (Mountain Man Du) in INFI and SR77, these are keepers. I try to use all my knives, but my oldest daughter just started college so I'll probably have to sell less frequently used (or unused) knives. I won't be able to add any more to my collection for a while either. Sad, but I get to used most of the ones I have anyway.

Welcome to the discovery of excellent knife construction and materials.

Well....I think I've gone full retard (never go full retard)....In addition to the INFIdu I just bought, I also just bought an INFI SFNO.

So next week, I'll have my first Busse namesake knife...

Holy crap...I need to take a break.

Your gonna love the SFNO !!!! One of my all time favorite Busse blades :-)

Once you have the SFNO you just KNOW you will need to find out what all the fuss is with the NMSFNO....
.....yes....coming here is a little like attending an AA Meeting that has an open bar.... :D

I’m already finding that out...Hey bartender, Jobu needs a refill.....

And yes, I like the NMSFNO too...wallet is on fire right now.

This is my life, minus family the kids going off to college...I started with an R6 (Rodent 6) direct form shop, and then I went straight for INFI for a long while and now mixing back in some SR101 via the Swamp. I prefer The Swamp to Battle Grade, different handles and all that...

I procrastinate so much when it is "sell time"...never met a Busse I did not want to keep. I've hardly ever met a knife I did not want to keep....

Trying to keep some sort of balance though!

Welcome Jagamov - you have great taste in my opinion...some of my all-time favorites you listed, and others are correct:

If you went SFNO, you have to go both the ASH route and the NO route...it is a must do...

So, next is NMSFNO, FFG SFNO and/or Saber SFNO, .22 Vs .25, Convex Vs V, and ASH1 (SKINNY, FAT, "REGULAR"), ASH2, NMFSH, FSH, HOGFSH, HHFSH, and ten there are the....jeez! It is nuts!

I was an "SFNO guy" over the ASH'es until I got a skinny ASH, and it made me re-think the whole relationship/line-up...

The RMD's of any variety are one of the best knives ever created, in my opinion.

Welcome. Yes it is an addiction. I bought my first Busse a couple of months ago. Just received my 4th one today. I now have the following:

BG Fusion Battlemistress
BG Anniversary Mean Street
Huck Fin
BG Bunker Buster

Sorry I can’t post pics. Enjoy your new addiction.

Yeah, I like the ASH too for sure. And yes, the number of models is a bit nuts...

I’m still trying to digest it all. Can’t wait for my 2 new ones to show up.

Speaking of buying: where are the best places to look other than here (obviously)?

I have used Arizona Custom Knives and they are great.
I saw Knife Hunter - is he legit?
Of course eBay - not my favorite

Am I missing other good dealers?
