New Tracker Blade

Why are you selling your WSK? I spose if you don't really use it that much and can obviouly get a load a money, it could be worth it. Where'd you find yours anyway? We should really ask RS6 for a pic of his Beck knife next to his Predator knife for a nice comparison picture.

We're still waiting for you to post a review on the "Tracker" style knife you bought from RedScorpion6 on Ebay. Whatever happened with that deal? Did you ever get the knife?

I sold my well used Dave Beck WSK on Ebay last year for $1600.00. Not a bad return on my investment!

Yeah...I would like to hear more about that Predator review when you get the knife. I think Aaron (RS6 president) said the orders were going out in Feb. So we should be hearing something soon. -Damion

belive me there is nothing I would rather do than keep them both, and use the hell out of them. However with what I have in them, and what they can bring, I would have a hard time doing it. I got them on ebay several months ago, just to have a set, and hoping the whole time a used set would pop up at a price that I could actually use them at. I will always have my eye out for a used set, in the future.

Hey guys, I don't have the blade yet. He emailed me today and said the orders are being shipped in about a week. He is even going to overnight it to me to make up for the wait! It was the most promising email I have gotten from him thus far. On another note, it's good to know that he owned a real Beck knife and didn't just go from a blueprint or design for his version. I'm glad he could actually compare the two.

Thats true Smurf...I hope you get the blade and are very happy with it. As I mentioned in other posts, I hope this turns out to be legit. I have never sent an email to Aaron without a relpy, so he seems to keep up with the messages. Let us all know how it pans out my friend...pics, reviews, and the whole shabang!! -Damion

I feel like giving this one a bump cause i'm still suspicious as to how this knife will perform.

Hippie I am following in your footsteps and have ordered one direct from Red Scorpion 6. I am pretty excited about trying it out. Although I wish I did not have to wait. I think they are totally legit. I contacted them and one reason for he delay was legal transfer of business state to state issues. although this knife better be good, I really like my TOPS Screaming Eagle.
BTW did you guys get a look at Hedgehogs RAZR. looks like reprofiled Screaming Eagle with cutout sawback. Interesting may have to consider that one too.
later I will give you feed back on the knife when I get it.

Hello all,
Paul here from Hedgehog Leatherworks. I haven't actively participated in the forums before; I usually just browse. I noticed you guys found our new RAZR knife and I just wanted to say that I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about it. Our website has a pretty all inclusive description, but feel free to to ask me anytime.

Also, as I am new to the forums, am I even allowed to talk about the knife in this area? I tried starting a post about it a few days ago, yet it was deleted for being considered an advertisment. Could someone give me some advice on this? I'd like to start off on a good foot here and play by the rules.

Thanks,
Paul Scheiter

Hey Paul, welcome. I don't know if you've read this entire thread on the Red Scorpion 6 Predator WSK knife but I understand you are working with Aaron on a sheath for his knife. I started this thread because I ordered one such knife from him about a month ago. He informed me of your company. How have things been going as far as a sheath for his knives? Would your current "TOPS Tom Brown" sheaths fit his version? If it means emailing me or sending a PM to save the risk of "advertisement", thats' fine.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for the inquiry; I'm sorry I can't elaborate, but I will not be doing business with RS6 now or at anytime in the future. As far as our regular sheaths, they are designed and molded very specifically for the TOPS tracker, and will not fit his knives.

Thanks,
Paul

I still cant believe he is charging what he is WITHOUT a sheath.............go figure??:thumbdn:

So if I send you the Predator you won't make a sheath for it? I thought you did custom sheaths? I was hoping to get one of your sheaths for it. I like your design for the tracker and would like it to carry the knife I just bought. Can you make individuals a sheath?
I just got an email from Aaron saying that you guys were not doing business directly but you may entertain taking orders from individuals. He seems like an upfront guy is there something wrong with his business practices? He actually promoted your company and siad you make a solid products and highly referred you.

I'd be happy to accept a custom sheath order for the predator on an individual basis, but we have no plans to stock a sheath for this knife. I just meant that RS6 and I will not be having a B2B relationship. In other words, HHLW will not be outfiting his line of knives such that a predator would come standard with a HHLW sheath. I hope this helps to clarify.

Thanks,
Paul

Hedgehog,

Do you know about what you would charge to make one and how long it would take? Would it be similar to the ones for the tracker version. I would like one like that. plain nothing fancy. basic black or brown.
THE BARTMAN

Bartman,
I would price one the exact same as our existing sheaths for the TOPS version. Approximate turnaround time would be 2 to 3 weeks with our current work load, although this could fluctuate between now and the time we recieved the knife from you in the mail. (We would need to have it during the sheath making process to ensure a proper fit and good molding.) Making a sheath without the knife in hand is usually a total shot in the dark. Just let me know as the date approaches and I'd be happy to get you set up.

Paul

You guys really should continue this converstation by email. Questions about what something sells for are not appropriate for this forum. Hedgehog, you have handled this correctly by not stating the price.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the note; I'm glad you said something. Question: is there a place in the forums where selling/advertising is permitted? I know that it requires a certain level of membership however I am having a difficult time understanding the differences between each membership. Any advice would be appreciated.

Paul
